Faraan: Syrian Kurdish militants were attacked by unknown individuals in two separate attacks in northern Syria on Thursday.
According to the SANA news agency, the first attack took place in the Al-Karama area, east of the northern Syrian city of Raqqa, and unknown people opened fire on a Kurdish militant base, killing one Kurdish soldier and wounding several others.
The second attack took place in the Maskan al-Aqtan area north of Raqqa, and a car belonging to Kurdish militants was detonated by a bomb, killing one Kurdish militant and wounding several others. Last Monday, a bomb blast near a car belonging to Qassad forces near the town of Al-Barouda, west of Raqqa, killed and wounded several people.
The Syrian Kurds often blame ISIS terrorists for these attacks. Kurdish militias in the eastern regions, in Deir ez-Zor and al-Hasakah provinces, have also been repeatedly targeted, with anti-American populist groups protesting the presence of the occupiers on Syrian soil.
