47 Yemeni children killed and injured in 2 months

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said in a statement that 47 Yemeni children had been killed and injured in the past two months.

Faraan: In the past two months since 2022, at least 47 children have been killed and injured in various parts of Yemen, UNICEF said in a statement.

The statement said that according to the UN investigations, more than 10,200 children have been killed and injured since the start of the war in Yemen (seven years ago), whereby the number mentioned is probably much lesser than the reality.

According to Russia Today, the statement said that violence, poverty and misery had spread in Yemen and had dire consequences for millions of children and their families, and that it was time to find a lasting political solution to the Yemenis and their children for them to live in peace and security they deserve.

Since the beginning of the Saudi-led Arab League’s aggression against Yemen, the health, economic, educational and other sectors in Yemen have been severely damaged and displaced by the large number of Yemenis, more than 3.3 million of whom live in schools and camps. It has caused the spread of infectious diseases and cholera.
More than 2,500 schools in Yemen are also unusable and are being used for military purposes or have become shelters for refugees.
