Yemeni sources reported that Brigadier General Muthanna Javas, his son and a number of his companions were killed in an explosion in the city of Aden.

Brigadier General Jawas was one of the senior military commanders of the Southern Front and commanded most of the wars against the Yemeni revolutionaries, and was one of the perpetrators of the martyrdom of Sayyid Hussein Badruddin Houthi, the founder of the Ansarullah movement.
Meanwhile, some other media outlets and news sources published images of an explosion at a security post belonging to the UAE-affiliated Transitional Council in the Green Zone of Aden. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station. According to Yemeni sources, several people were killed and injured during the blast.
