A security source in Daraa, located in the south of Syria, informed about the security operations of this country’s forces in the city of Tafas against the ISIS terrorist group.
Faraan: This source told “Suriana” radio that during the operation of the Syrian security forces, “Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Hallaq”, one of the senior leaders of ISIS, was killed in the south of this country. According to this source, Al-Halaq was previously the commander of ISIS’s military department in “Olyrmouk Basin” and is currently in charge of the training camps of this terrorist group.
This source emphasized that this terrorist cooperated with the recently killed terrorist named Abu Salem al-Iraqi and another element named Abd al-Rahman al-Iraqi. This cooperation was carried out in coordination with the intelligence services of an Arab country. A local source in Daraa province reported a few days ago that Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ba’e, nicknamed “Abu Salem Al-Iraqi”, the leader of one of the ISIS groups in Daraa, was killed.
According to this source, this terrorist killed himself with an explosive belt. Meanwhile, al-Iraqi blew himself up after a clash with the Syrian security forces who surrounded his residence. His place of residence was in the town of “Adwan” in the west of Daraa. Al-Iraqi was originally a resident and born in the city of Mosul, Iraq, and is considered one of the senior leaders of ISIS in southern Syria. He has been wanted by the Syrian army. Despite the liberation of the cities of Raqqa in Syria and Mosul in Iraq and the end of the alleged caliphate of the Takfiri group of Daesh, the members of this group in the form of small groups of several people attack the military and civilians from time to time and leave human and financial losses.
