The Zulfiqar exercise, which is being conducted on the coast of Makran in the southeast of the country, with the presence of naval, land, air and air defense forces, continues. This exercise is carried out by Iranian forces on the coast of this country with the aim of preventing the invasion of hostile forces into the country’s territory.
Faraan: In this exercise, ground forces, sea forces, air defense and special forces were able to implement advanced defense tactics against the supposed enemy in the coastal areas. Amir Brigadier General Ali Reza Sheikh said: “According to the principles and rules of war, decisive defense of the coast is very important because it prevents the enemy from infiltrating the coast, and due to the importance of this issue, we conducted this exercise at night.”
The exercises are continuing and the positions of the hypothetical enemy and its equipment were located using mechanized and personnel-carrying equipment and artillery fire, and all the exercises were conducted in changing and harsh weather conditions. Admiral Habibullah Siyari, the commander of this exercise, also said: “We are ready to deal with any threat and carry out tactics accordingly, and in this exercise we proved our readiness to defend the coast in any weather condition.”
The operational stage of the Zulfikar 2022 joint exercise has started yesterday (Friday) with the slogan Ya Zahra (a.s) in the southeast areas, Makran coasts, the distance east of the Strait of Hormuz to the vicinity of Gwatar port and Oman Sea up to 10 degrees in the northern Indian Ocean.
