FARAAN: Observers of regional affairs believe that America is using the humanitarian card to put pressure on Yemen and advance its policies, even though the ceasefire has ended and the observers predict a new stage for it.
Commentary:
Ali al-Dilami, the Minister of Human Rights in the National Salvation Government of Yemen, said that the United Nations has failed severely in relation to the Yemeni case. Al-Dilami added: “The United Nations could have played an appropriate role from the beginning of the aggression against Yemen.” Pointing out that the role of the United Nations is to protect civilians and not expose them to danger or siege, he emphasized that the United Nations has abandoned humanitarian cases and focused on political cases.
The Minister of Human Rights in the National Salvation Government of Yemen stated that Kuwait warned about the economic war that may target the Yemeni people and this is exactly what happened.
Al-Dilami said: “The United States is the main factor in reducing aid to the Yemeni people because of its interests and those of its partners, which it prefers over human rights.”
He added: “Yemen has high economic capacities and Sana’a demands the release of these capacities from the constraints that America has created for it.” Abd Shabib, a political researcher and regional affairs expert, also said that the United States wants to turn the food card into a pressure and blackmail card through the United Nations. Shabib noted that due to the insistence of the Sana’a leadership on its demands, Washington wants to change the conditions of the ceasefire in its favor.
This political researcher added that the situation in Yemen is now in an aura of uncertainty, because the ceasefire has ended and all options are on the table in the field of Yemen, and this shows that America is currently focusing on the issue of Yemen and the role of the coalition is ending. Abd Shabib said that the US seems to be preparing for a new combined war in Yemen.
