FARAAN: October 7, 2023, the day of Al-Aqsa storm, is not like other days; On this day, Palestinian youth took revenge for 70 years of occupation, humiliation, injustice, killing and displacement of Palestinians at the hands of Zionist terrorist groups, groups that are still supported by the colonialist and hypocritical West. On this day, the Zionists tasted a little of the bitterness of the humiliation and oppression they have imposed on the Palestinian people for decades.

The West, led by the United States and behind it the Zionists, has tried hard and is still trying to reduce the intensity of the earthquake that destroyed the foundations of the Zionist regime, as stated by Anthony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, and the Western and Israeli media. They announced that the purpose of Al-Aqsa storm operation was to hit the process of peace negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
They have forgotten that the dismantling of the normalization framework between Saudi Arabia and Israel, although it is aftershocks of the devastating earthquake of Al-Aqsa storm, but this issue was not in the focus of the planners and executors of this great epic, an epic that changed everything, including the normalization with Israel, which showed its ugly, barbaric and criminal face, when it declared “war” on a small group that has been living in suffering and hardship and siege for years in a limited area called the Gaza Strip, and has now even shut off water and electricity, food and gas, and has been implementing the scorched earth policy there with the support of America.
The Hebrew newspaper “Jerusalem Post” was one of the first sources to announce in a report that Saudi Arabia, after the operation of “Al-Aqsa Storm” and the declaration of war by Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime against Gaza, has canceled all normalization negotiations with “Israel”, which is under the auspices of the US government.
Although we do not know the accuracy of this news and the position of Saudi Arabia regarding it, logic says that countries like Saudi Arabia, due to its religious symbol and political, religious and economic weight in the Islamic world and hosting millions of Muslims every year during the Hajj season, cannot simply ignore Netanyahu’s declaration of “war” against the besieged Gaza, a declaration of war unprecedented since the October 1973 war.
Saudi Arabia was therefore expected to halt normalization talks, seeing how “Israel” has leveled residential areas in Gaza at the direct instigation of US President Joe Biden, who claims to support “peace” and has explicitly asked Netanyahu to act decisively against Hamas.
The crime that took place in the officer college in Homs is first of all a joint crime between America and the Zionist regime. This crime is actually a part of America’s moves in eastern Syria to impose a new geographical reality on this country; a move that threatens the territorial integrity of Syria and is in line with the continued aggression of the Zionist regime against the Syrian army and the attack on the military facilities of this country. The purpose of this tragedy is to weaken the Syrian army and sow seeds of despair among the people of this country and instill the illusion that the fate of Syria is in the hands of the United States and the Zionist regime.
But what these two criminals did not think about is that such a crime does not cause the slightest disturbance in the determination of the Syrian government. This country has been standing against the international conspiracy for more than 11 years.
