Sermon 1 : Four pillars for establishing Adl
Sermon 2 : Hypocrisy of Qatar, Turkey and Egypt
Guidance like Taqwa is established on Adl because all this is for human beings and foundation of man is also based on Adl. Man is a unique, privileged creation in universe and the universe is as well established on Adl. The human system is also on the basis of Adl and the major segment of human life and systems is human society. The design of human society made by the Allah is based on Adl and Prophets were aroused for the sake of establishing Adl amongst human beings. And it is through Adl only the human society’s protection becomes possible. Since man is made with free will establishing the system of Allah is left with man to establish Adl in society.
The foundation of religion is on Adl is expressed in Quran and also in Nahjul Balagha Amirul Momineen (a) also mentions very beautifully. The Nahjul Balagha in reality is the Tafsir of Quran whereby all realities of Quran that are expressed as general there Amirul Momineen (a) has mentioned these with specific references in Nahjul Balagha.
In saying number 30 of Amirul Momineen (a) which we have discussed before in series of Sayings of Ali (a) whereby Ali (a) was questioned by Ali (a) as to what is Emaan (faith) he replied that Faith has pillars that are Sabr, Yaqeen, Adl and Jihad. For all these four he expressed four sections of each of these. In Adl there are four fields and when they get established one pillar of faith gets established. We are cultural or biological believer since we were born in Muslim families. We do not traverse the path required to achieve faith and are convinced that since we are born in Muslim family we are Muslims. The faith is an acquired act and not something inherited. There are steps that need to be covered to reach faith. It has a procedure by which man reaches faith. To become believer Amirul Momineen (a) expressed four pillars and in these Adl is elaborated by Ali (a) as having four departments.
وَالْعَدْلُ مِنْهَا عَلَى أَرْبَعِ شُعَبٍ: عَلَى غائِصِ الْفَهْمِ، وَغَوْرِ الْعِلْمِ وَزُهْرَةِ الْحُكْمِ،ِ، وَرَسَاخَةِ الْحِلْمِ: فَمَنْ فَهِمَ عَلِمَ غَوْرَ الْعِلْمِ، و من عَلِمَ غَوْرَ الْعِلْمِ صَدَرَ عَنْ شَرَائِعِ الْحُكْمِ وَمَنْ حَلُمَ لَمْ يُفَرِّطْ فِي أَمْرِهِ وَعَاشَ فِي النَّاسِ حَمِيداً.
First department of Adl which places the first foundation of Adl is diving into understanding whereby man should absorb deeply the realities and concepts kept by Allah for man. It is not general understanding as per ability but it is diving (Gaaesul) inside understanding. Whatever realities are present in front of man he should understand its realities, causes, effects, consequences, reasoning behind the realities. When man understands all the realties which he sees, uses, in front of eyes, ears he has covered the first step. If man passes by realities without observing them Quran terms such persons as deaf, blind, dumb and is worse animal. We don’t see what we have to see, what we have to speak we don’t speak , we don’t listen to what has to be listened then these are the worse animals. Man should not have bird’s view on realities but should dive inside for deep understanding. Man does dive to find the precious gems kept on the sea bed. The first department of Adl is deep understanding of everything which establishes Adl in society. Those who do not understand they cannot establish Adl; it is impossible for them to do. The deep understanding for all affairs whether social, political, economic, relationship, family, religious, cultural and all affairs related to your life is the first department of Adl. Understanding religion deeply is Adl. A big reason due to which we are deprived of many things is because of lack of deep understanding. Like today we are deprived of divine political system of Imamat since years because one big foundation is lack of deep understanding of Imamat. This has bought down the first pillar of Adl. When there is no Adl in our existence then the system which Allah has made is impossible. As per scholars three fundamental things Hikmat, Shujaat and Iffat are balanced traits which makes the personality of man as Mutaddil. If this balance is not there in Aql, Desires and Anger then man would be on either side of extreme. Without deep understandig nothing is possible. If we do analysis of understanding for those people who study religion they are under false feeling that we have studied religion in books, lectures which they are not lying. So after studying all this have they understood Imamat? This is because study is not enough what is required is deep understanding of religion.
The second department of Adl to reach faith is “Gaurul Ilm”. The meaning of Gaur is to enter inside something which could be entering some situation, under earth or inside anything. So Gaurl Ilm means to enter inside knowledge. If man revolves around knowledge which is light then he does establish Adl. Man has to enter the light of knowledge and not just take benefits of light from outside. You can ponder and see the atmosphere inside. When man enters the light of knowledge then this light enters the minds, heart of man and becomes part of personality. Man becomes an enlightened personality from inside
The third pillar of Adl is Zohratul Hukm. Zahra means something that is fully lighted hence blossoming flower is also termed in Arabic. Like rose if you see it is bud then gradually the petals open up and blossoms, whereby it expresses its entire beauty then it is termed as Zahra which means all the perfect traits are expressed and known. This means when decisions and judgements are made the decisions should be very clear, elaborated. Like when two opinions come in front of view and you have to decide which is the correct opinion , this is Hukm. When you assess in market between original and duplicate to decide which one is original this is Hukm. The Hukm is not related to disputes. We do this on regular basis. You are sitting in some gathering, and you speak up by saying something spoken out there as correct. This is Hukm. We consider those persons as Noble who does not declare wrong as wrong, right as right and we say he should be our Imam. This is because hypocrisy has entered inside and we select such persons as Imam. This person is not Adil, one who cannot give a judgement.
The four pillar of Adl is Rasakatul Hilm. To melt inside something is Raasik whereby it can be separated like sugar, salt melts with water. Hilm means forbearance. That is man understands reality and does not react immediately but tolerating. Hilm is a very high state. Ilm is awareness and when a light, lowly persons becomes aware about something he cannot preserve this awareness to everyone. He expresses to everyone whatever he listens specifically the defects of others. In media today this has happened whatever you have heard you spread in media. Our Army chief is Hafiz e Quran who presents verses of Quran in every discussion. For media he has said that media makes us do everything from which Allah has stopped us from doing. When Army chief speaks this it is astonishing that he has understood the realities. He gave a proof from the Quran whereby it is mentioned when some Faasik , corrupt person comes with a news you should investigate. Whereas he says media says forward it. In traditions it is mentioned that it is enough for a person to be termed as liar that he spreads whatever he listens. If there is no Hilm without Ilm then this Ilm destroys. The loss from ignorance is less then the loss from Ilm without Hilm. You know something kept inside your heart. If Allah forwards whatever you have inside then what would be my status. This respect of mine is maintained through the Hilm of Allah. We try to take precedence over each other as to who knows more. Whatever you know keep it inside.
The one who enters inside Ilm is the one who can take right decision. The one who is Haleem will never cross limits neither in speech, in actions and always stays inside Adl. Thus Adl is the foundation of Taqwa, Faith , Man, society and universe. Adl is the usool e deen, which gets established with Imamat. The Shiite had to give Imamat and Adl as gift to humanity. The Shiite should not have taken dictatorship, Imperialism from people. The Shiite is meant to give to people and not to take from people. Allah has kept all precious minerals in specific places under earth and buried in mountains so that only eligible, capable persons can come and take it out. Then there are other precious things like Ahlulbayt (a) say that we are mines of Prophethood and Messengership. This means the Prophet (s) has kept the precious gems inside these mines. The Shiite are mines under which Imamat and Adl is kept. If the world needs political system it is Imamat and if the world needs human system it is Adl and these two gifts are given to Shiite. But is so sad that those who were supposed to give these gifts to humanity are walking behind worse people forgetting the gifts which they have.
Sermon 2
Without Taqwa the humanity of man gets lost. We can divide human beings in two categories; with Taqwa and without. The negligence of Taqwa has pushed man into beastliness and has reached this level that even those who have humanity have become suppressed in front of beasts. As such these examples are present in history and if those incidents take us near in helping our problems then we should approach those. The knowledge that does not give benefits the Prophet (s) seeks refuge from it. Every generation have their own specifics of knowledge.
The story of barbarism today in Gaza has subjugated everything. It has made entire humanity naked. Those who are doing barbarism 24 hours without break on women and children, then there are those who are watching these and not showing any reaction. In the same context, many other things come up where many things can be done. Like Muslims did not approach international court but South Africa went to international court to stop these crimes. But for us this is still the Islamic world. The Prophet (s) said that anyone who rises in the morning and does not make any arrangement for Muslims is not like Muslim. Then he says, anyone who listens to the call of Muslim for help and does not reach for his help is not a Muslim.
If we see the criteria set by Islam and the situation it is very shameful. Last week the realities that have come up are further astonishing. Qatar has proposed a solution for stopping the work. Qatar, Turkey and Egypt are playing the most hypocritical role. On one side they are deceiving Hamas by giving them refuge like Qatar. Egypt has become partner to Israel by not allowing any aid to reach Palestine. Turkey is providing all logistics support to Israel. Qatar is playing a diplomatic role. They have proposed that we will remove Hamas out from Palestine. This is what Israel wants. When the entire city is ruined you are saying this? if you were giving this suggestion to save the people and city, it could have been understood. After killing 25000 people, ruining every building now you are saying that Hamas can be removed from Palestine. The second solution proposed by Saudi Minister is with the statement that we are more prepared now to accept Israel as our friends. And we will do this immediately after war ends. The ending of war means for them that every Palestinian should be killed after which we will make friendship. As per Saudis the war will end when all the Palestinians of Gaza and West bank should be killed. They are waiting for this and then we will befriend Israel. We can see the state of other countries where they have even stopped giving statements. This has never been seen in history where the oppression is being seen live by the world but no reaction.
Those who know such things and posses Taqwa should speak to such extent that the world starts to speak. The Prophet (s) would see how much we have spoken for the oppressed. He will question us when you listened to the call of Muslim what did you do? The way the transgression is being done by Israel it is increased every day, you should also raise your voice more day by day. We did a women’s day and again now we have 13th Rajab which is the foundation day of Jamea, we request everyone to attend this convention and through this we will destroy the Khyber and Marhab today. We will express our readiness to take every possible step for helping our oppressed brothers.
