Consultation of European Union countries about sanctions against the Zionist regime

Faraan: Ireland’s foreign minister said that for the first time, EU foreign ministers have seriously discussed the possibility of imposing sanctions on the Zionist regime, if Tel Aviv does not comply with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) order to stop the military offensive against Rafah.

Last Friday, the International Court of Justice ordered the Zionist regime to stop its military operations in Rafah. Nawaf Salam, the head of the International Court of Justice, said the Israeli regime must guarantee unhindered access to this area for missions investigating reports of genocide, as well as for humanitarian aid.

The Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin told reporters on Monday after the European Union Foreign Relations Council meeting: “For the first time in an EU meeting, I saw a real significant discussion about the sanctions against Israel.”

He added: “There is no consensus in this regard, but people emphasize that if Israel does not comply with the rulings of the International Court of Justice, an approach based on sanctions should be adopted. According to Sputnik, the Zionist regime attacked a camp in the northeast of Rafah on Sunday evening in a new crime. The Palestinian Civil Defense Group announced that at least 45 people were killed and dozens more injured as a result of this crime. Earlier, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, called the air attack on the Rafah refugee camp a “sad incident” and claimed that an investigation is underway.

In a situation where the Zionists have justified their crime, nearly 36,000 Palestinians have been martyred during the ground and air raids of the Zionist regime army throughout Gaza since October 7th and after the Palestinian operation of Al-Aqsa storm, and most of the martyrs are women and children.
