Sermon 1 : Adl can only be established through Imamat
The foundation of Taqwa is Adl. The entire creation is based Adl and Allah established Adl in creation but establishing Adl withing our self and in society has to be done by Adl.
The first stage of social Adl is in creation of society. Adl will be established with the structure of society which are values on which human society is formed. When the structure is formed then other divisions get formed like acts, ethics, rituals, relations etc. The actual structure is values and foundation of values also starts from Adl. If man is successful in establishing Adl then Adl gets established in society.
The Prophets were sent with clear books, miracles so that people can rise and stand on Adl. We do not have seriousness to understand religion on intellectual basis instead we only follow sentiments. In Shia school there are two additional elements of Usool-e-Deen, one is Imamat and second is Adl. In other schools the roots of religion is Tauheed, Prophethood and Qayamat. In Shias even though Adl and Imamat are separately specified they are not elaborated on their principles and instead they turned into different topics. The Adl which is discussed in our books is about Adl of Allah. This means man is demanding Allah to be Adil, he should not do oppression, injustice. The Quran has expressed the Adl of human being and not of Allah. Ilm-e-Kalam Adl is enforced on Allah whereas Quran commands man to be Adil and this is not found in our studies. The Quran is commanding people to rise on Adl which means to establish a society based on Adl. And Adalat means balance , fairness in all affairs of human society.
Even though the science of sociology was presented by Muslim but still we take it from West. Sociology presents how a society is formed, how changes , revolutions take place and all social affairs are part of this science. As per this science coming from West, human Adl is interpreted that all human beings are equal in distribution of natural resources. And all human being should have equal share in capitals produced by industries. The means produces should be fairly distributed amongst people. It should not happen that all natural resources should go in the hands of a specific class and others get deprived.
I have mentioned that schools like Marxism and socialism coming out from bases Human being on means and resources. Whereas religion has based human society on values and virtues. The means, resources would be distributed based on values. If values are not present then the means can be never be produced, distributed or used in fair manner. This can be seen today in our society. Every class wants to have means of life , capital but if we see today and in history as well across all human societies that means, resources has always been with a specific, limited class. We can see the media reports about the richness of our natural resources in Pakistan. In one gathering with farmers recently the entire list of resources was presented by Army chief to journalists and all attendees about our mountains, water resources, forests, minerals. There is no doubt that Pakistan is rich with natural resources but under whose control are these? If we see from this perspective that when we have such rich natural resources then why are we counted amongst poor countries of world? How many people are using these resources from 250 million. There are few families who are using these and all others are totally disassociated with these resources. This is absence of Adl because these resources are not in the hands of everyone in a fair manner. It goes in hands of few capitalists and rest all others become dependent on them. This is imbalance in society. There are some people who have excess means of life and some do not have the basic, essential means of life. If you see the housing of 250 million people. A limited small category of people who are living in 1000 kanal homes. The ex-Prime Minister who came to establish Adl has a 300 Kanal home. All those associated with them have massive houses, farm houses and the workers at their homes do not even have a small hut. There are families , 3 to 4 brothers married are living in a small house. Similarly if you see the business opportunities are not equally available to everyone. The one who wants to do business should have equal opportunity and facilities from government but that remains confined to certain class only. Then services projects like building homes, bridges, other things as per law there should be tender and one eligible should be given. But they first allocate the project to someone then for formality a tender is done. Then the opportunity for Education should be given equally to everyone of the same standard.
When we take the name of social justice, Adl our minds goes towards the distribution of these resources. This Adalat is important from social perspective. Resources and opportunities should be equally available to everyone. Like if everyone is given equal opportunity for studies, then also not everyone will learn the same. Some study and go high, some remain back due to various personal, family issues. This is not injustice; it is negligence of certain class that they do not make their children study. In our country we have separate opportunities for elite class, separate for middle class. There are schools in Lahore who will ask about the child’s father about his assets, salary , so if you are not amongst elite class then child won’t get admission. The opportunities to study should be equally available to all. Similarly the business opportunity, resources should be available at basic level to everyone. It is not the religion says that everything should be given free. Quran says what you earn is yours. The Adalat is also not that you distribute the losses equally. The loss, profit are your own but approach to opportunities and resources should be to everyone. Those who are smart, hardworking will take benefit. But today this system is not there like as an example the education sector where we can see different standards of schools. When the society is not having Adl as foundation then crimes will crop out.
This Adalat is the prestige of Shias where they have placed Adl in their school. But we have changed the direction of this Adl, that Allah should be Adil, not do oppression but can do. Today there is a scarcity of this Adl. The standards which Shias have taken as responsibility. The Shia are those to whom Allah has handed over the standards of Adalat and Imamat. And both of these are forsaken in our society as well by Shias. When Ali (a) took control of governance as fourth Caliph practically even though he was the first Imam. When Ali (a) got this opportunity he refused and was not ready to accept their governance. He said since the accomplishment of Hujjat was done , and supporters cropped up even though they were outward who were showing their loyalty and allegiance I took this responsibility. Then he told people that the governance which I will establish is not the one you have become habituated. This government would be totally opposite of the one before in the era of 3rd Caliph. In that era the Banu Umayyah were controlling all the resources of economy, ownership, politics, management and every all affair including the religious rights. It was due to this the rebellion started. It was not an ideological conflict instead a class conflict. These are historical facts and not a sectarian rift. Maulana Maududi expressed it every well that why this rebellion started in the era of 3rd Caliph and not before. He has presented this from Ahle Sunnat resources. He was termed as Kafir after he presented this, but he did not come under pressure from the extremist. He did not absolve even a single sentence of his book, he defended and proved what I said is correct. We should not look at it from sectarian perspective but from sociology. What kind of society is Pakistan, its state is not a sectarian discussion, here everyone is involved. Even though sects are part of social science but there is no interference of sects in class division of society.
What we are saying is that Ali (a) did not get governance of an established , organized state. He took control of a disturbed, crisis state where the class system had destroyed all the foundations of Allah. And Banu Umayyah had control of all this. As per Maududi Banu Umayyah did not meet the criteria of human or Islamic values at all and they were given control. The reason he says that Banu Umayyah never became Muslim by heart, they became Muslim due to getting trapped and they became Muslim in last era of Prophet (s) and they did not get time to get trained.
Such a society comes to Ali (a) and he says I will do this with Adalat. Imamat establishes Adalat. Today Adalat is not there because we are trying to achieve this through democracy, imperialism, dictatorial systems. Allam Iqbal says if someone becomes crazy to extract musk from the belly of dog, might be he will get but from the current system of education you cannot expect anything. So to expect humanity and values from the prevailing political systems it is not possible.
Recap our argument, that Taqwa is protection, Muttaqeen is a secured society whose foundation is Adl. And Adalat is all around and there is social Adl where equal distribution of resources is required which is impossible other than from the system of Imamat. No other system can provide equal opportunities and approach to resources. What have we understood from Imamat? We consider Imam as one who can fulfill our desires and invocations. This is Sufism and not Imamat. The Imam of Quran is in society who has control of Ummah, resources, opportunities which he gives equally to everyone. This is something which Shias have dropped. It is impossible to establish social justice without Imamat. This is something which Shias have to specifically understand. We have to understand Adalat and Imamat very deeply as this has been placed in our Usool e Deen. We should be able to present to everyone this. Today Shias have gone after people worse than Banu Umayyah. This is because of distancing from Imamat. You are casting votes to search whom? The Imam. You are looking for an Imam in these dacoits, liar, immodest, adulterer. If these are your Imams to whom you will cast vote then why are not accepting Muawiya and Yazid? They were also like these only. If you leave Imamat, then Adalat, economy, state, Ummah all will get destructed. You have left Imamat and experimenting one after other corrupt leaders. Thousands donkeys cannot work like a man so how can they work like an Imam. This was what Allama Iqbal (r.a) presented.
The Imamat and Adalat should come from Shiite. You should have held the standard of Imamat. The Imams did not allow Imamat to be lost in the era of enemies but we abandoned it and then we are ready for every injustice and oppression which we can see now. Anyone who comes in place of Imamat, would be worse than before. You can see your every day what the oppressors are doing. They have gone towards extreme of oppression. We are demanding peace, salvation, Adalat from United Nations. Can they give? Have they given to anyone before. Take the standard of Imamat in your hands, then no oppressor can do the oppression the way it is done in Gaza and entire humanity is silent.
Sermon 2
Sermon 2 : If you ignore beasts, they will not ignore you
Allah established the system of security of Taqwa for protection of society and today we have distanced from it. We can see one part of Ummah in Gaza and how they have become victimized in most barbaric way. The way these criminals are mass killing children, women which even beasts won’t do. And worse than them are those spectators, the Muslim rulers, politicians, elites, leaders, Ulama, intellectuals. They have gained everything from Islam. Their means of life are in the name of Islam, respect, status and we can’t even see a sign of Islam in them. This because such kind of negligence, carelessness, ignorance is not accepted by Islam even if oppression is done on just human beings. They are Muslims apart from being human beings, then they are defenders of Aqsa. They are being killed in 100’s every day, pictures are coming out and Muslims are busy in their own lives. This is a divine law; when you close your eyes on beasts, then the beasts will not show any respect to you. This has become manifested in front of everyone. The reply which Israel had to get they did not get from anywhere other than Hamas, Palestinians who gave them jaw breaking reply. Other than this neither politically, diplomatically, armed, economically they did not get any reply. Certain people, personalities who have earned big name on Islam they do not even take the name of Israel and Palestine. We should identify such persons as Gaza has unveiled them. When these people are not loyal with Allah and his creation then how can we remain loyal to them. There has not been a single reply given by them. Where there were expectations as well that reply will come, there also it did not come. This film hero Erdogan from Turkey who thinks he is Ertugul of film is a biggest betrayer supporting Israel. Azerbaijan who is one tail of Turkey is giving free oil to Israel during these days of war through Turkey route. All the business needs of Israel is fulfilled by Turkey and then issues dialogues. The only place where the pressure has come on Israel is from Houthis from Yemen. They are continuously showing that pressure and has got Israel afraid that this can defeat us.
Israel is increasing its domain of extremism. First they were doing on Gaza and now on West bank. Every Palestinian is under attack and above that he is attacking on neighboring countries. In the last week Israel has done historic insult on Muslims but could not get reply. First Israel attacked the Iranian Major General from the same rank of Qasim Suleimani. Syed Razi Moosavi who was serving Syrian confrontation for 25 years got martyred by Israel. Then Saleh Harouri who was the commander of Qassem Brigade and was the foundation element of 7th October. He was attacked in Lebanon by Israeli aircraft and martyred. Then the last operation was two days backs terrorist attack on the shrine of Haji Qassim Suleimani. There were two suicide attacks and more than 200 pilgrims was martyred. Even though ISIS accepted it but we all know it was the work of Israel agent. This is how Israel is transgressing. They attacked Syria, Lebanon and Iran. They are preparing further attacks because they did not get reply of any attack. This is the nature of beasts if you give them opportunity they will not give you opportunity. The answer is to break their jaws and claws. Imam Khomeini (r.a) said that Israel has to be eliminated from earth completely. If you leave them they will do beastliness and everyone will become victim. Wherever there was resistance they have taken the steps by doing this attack. I will explain this in detail in current affairs analysis. But it is assured that unless Israel gets a reply he will not sit silent. This reply is obligatory on everyone.
You can see no Mufti gave a Fatwa of Jihad. They have given Fatwas to do Jihad against Pakistan government but not against Israel. For boycotting Israel products they can see how many Israeli products are used your homes. But just boycotting Israel will stop? Here all the scholars of Islam should have given united Fatwa to all Muslims the same what Imam Khomeini (r.a) did. Israel should have been eradicated from earth. When he does not get a reply they do next planning. He has given warning that next attack would be on Syed Hassan Nasrallah. This is because it did not a jaw breaking reply. Now also if we do not rise. The Pakistani establishment, government, politicians upset everyone. The people of Pakistan delivered their rights. An example of this was the women convention done at Jamea Ummul Kitab which was a historic gathering for supporting Hamas women. Then on 13th Rajab would be a big convention where you should participate and invite others also to participate so that Allah should not count us amongst those who have done oppression.
One thing I mentioned that everywhere in the country the flags of Palestine should be placed on your houses, bikes, cars as this will also be a protest, whereby we should make our identity as Palestinian so that the world gets a message that entire world is Palestine. We should make our voice reach in full form and through our hands Israel should get destroyed from earth. May Allah end Israel and America, and protect humanity from their evils. May Allah give sense to these silent humanity and Gairat to the Muslims.
