FARAAN: America vetoed the resolution of the UN Security Council to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza despite the favorable vote of 13 members of this council. Previously, the voting on this resolution was postponed due to the efforts of several Arab countries to persuade America to refuse to veto it.
Analysis:
The remarkable thing is that all members of the Security Council voted in favor of this resolution, even Britain, which is considered one of the staunchest supporters of the Israeli regime, abstained. This is because everyone is aware of the situation in the Gaza Strip and the amount of brutal crimes committed by the occupying forces in this besieged strip, and therefore they believe that this humanitarian crisis should end as soon as possible.
America was the only one that openly violated human and moral values and violated international laws and norms. America even ignored all of its Arab allies, who are trying to convince Washington to refuse to veto the resolution to end Israel’s brutal crimes against children and women in Gaza. American officials continue to accuse the Gaza resistance of opposing a humanitarian ceasefire in this area, while Washington’s recent action in the Security Council has revealed the falsehood of this claim. The US veto not only revealed which side violated the ceasefire, but also revealed the extent of US participation in the aggression of the Gaza Strip.
Does America think that the world believes this country’s justification of genocide, ethnic cleansing and war crimes in Gaza with American and Western weapons?! Meanwhile, Biden has pressed Congress to agree to more military aid to the occupation regime worth $14 billion and insists that Congress should also agree to military aid worth $3.8 billion, which includes fighters and bombs.
After the atomic bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the world is once again witnessing the terrible moral decline of America. Washington has openly opposed the humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and with this stance, it is actually directly participating in the aggression of the occupying regime in the Gaza Strip. By vetoing the ceasefire resolution, America has committed moral and human suicide in Gaza this time.
