Analysis of a Senior Egyptian officer about Iran’s attack on the occupied territories

FARAAN: Mohammad Rashad, a senior Egyptian officer and former head of the Egyptian spy agency and the head of the country’s spy operations room during the October 1973 war, reacted to Iran’s attack on the Zionist regime on Saturday night. Rashad said that by just judging the amount of damage caused by Iranian attack to this regime, “Israel”, it showed that this country can penetrate deep into the territory of the occupied Palestine.

He noted that Iran proved its power in dealing with military targets without attacking civilian targets, and this is indicative of the fact that Iran’s precision (in targeting) prevents the Zionist regime from any reaction in the future. He added. “Another message of Iran’s attack is that this regime is unable to do anything without America and cannot even defend itself alone.”

This senior Egyptian officer stated that this regime must understand this truth and adapt itself to America’s policies and positions in the Middle East and know that America does not want to escalate the conflict with Iran and will not participate in the response to this country’s attacks on the occupied Palestine. On Saturday night, in response to the occupation regime’s attack on its consulate in Damascus, Iran organized extensive missile attacks on the occupied territories using dozens of drones and ballistic missiles.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on Saturday and announced: “In response to the crime of the Zionist regime and the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the air forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeted predetermined targets in the occupied Palestinian territory.”
