A member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, in response to the suspension of military operations by the Saudi coalition, called it insufficient and announced that the struggle would continue until the siege of the Yemeni people was completely lifted.
Faraan: Mohammad al-Bakhiti, a member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, said in response to the announcement of a ceasefire by the Saudi coalition in the country that this step was not enough.
“The announcement by the Saudi coalition to suspend military operations does not mean that they have decided to end the siege of Yemen,” al-Bakhiti was quoted as saying by Russia Today. A member of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement’s political bureau tweeted: “Since it is imposed by force of arms, the pain and hardships that the Yemenis endure from the siege are more severe than the war itself; so this means continuing the Yemeni military operation aimed at breaking the siege.”
Last night, the Saudi coalition announced a halt to military operations in Yemen. The Joint Chiefs of Staff claimed that the purpose of the ceasefire was to facilitate consultations and to establish peace.
