Following the recent anti-espionage operation of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps in Kerman and the arrest of rioters linked to England, senior officials in London have reacted.
Faraan: The British government, continuing to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs, on Wednesday asked Iran to stop arresting dual nationals. According to Reuters news agency, British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak’s spokesman told reporters: “We are urgently seeking more information from Iranian authorities regarding the reports of the arrest of Iranian-British dual nationals.”
Rishi Sonak continued his claims and added: “We have always said that we will never accept that our citizens are used to exert diplomatic pressure and we ask the Iranian government to end the practice of unjustified detention of British citizens and citizens of other countries.” On Sunday, the public relations of Tharullah Corps in Kerman province announced the attack on an organized network linked to England and active during the recent riots in this province and the arrest of 7 leaders and its main elements.
This statement states: “With the grace of God and the precise intelligence measures of the unknown soldiers of Imam Zaman (A.S.) in the Intelligence Organization of the Tharullah Corps of Kerman Province, an organized network called “Zagros” was organized under the direct guidance of elements from the UK and the formation of a team of active elements. The counter-revolutionaries inside and outside the country were involved in directing subversive conspiracies, especially during the recent riots, and they were hit in a successful operation.
This announcement added: “In the course of the attack on this network, seven of its main elements and leaders inside the country who participated in planning, directing, content production and field actions in the recent riots were arrested and simultaneously with the actions “Technical and cyber, their reference groups and channels were also removed and blocked.”
Public Relations of the Tharallah Corps of Kerman Province continued: “Also, among the arrested elements, there were some dual nationals who were trying to escape from the country, but before any action, they were caught and sent to prison during the tour of the intelligence organization of the Tharallah Corps of Kerman Province.”
According to Reuters, the British Prime Minister’s spokesman added: “We have always said that we will never accept our nationals being used as diplomatic leverage and we ask the Iranian government to stop unjustly arresting British nationals and other foreign nationals.”
“Nasser Kanani”, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country, recently said in a meeting with reporters: “What is certain is that during the recent riots, a number of citizens of European countries have been arrested with different proportions of playing a role in the riots, and the cases of some of them have been completed. And some are in the research stage.”
Stating that the number of nationals of these countries and which countries they belong to is known, he added: “Consular and political information has been given to their respective countries; “Meetings and negotiations have also taken place in this regard, and therefore the role of citizens of a certain number of countries, especially European and Western European countries, in playing a role in the recent disturbances is completely confirmed and clear, and there is detailed information in this regard.”
