FARAAN: Citing the regime’s negotiating team in Cairo, Channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television, revealed that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, is thwarting the agreement plan with Hamas, which was supposed to lead to the return of Israeli prisoners. In the current situation, these negotiations could last for a whole year.
This television channel of the occupying regime quoted a member of the negotiating team of this regime as saying: “In this way, at least we can return the prisoners alive”. In a part of the negotiator’s statement, it is stated: “We realized that the Prime Minister does not pay any attention to the ideas and proposals put forth. The Israeli cabinet does not make much effort and does not work as expected. It may lead to a deal. But this deal is far worse than what was approved two months ago. This time at least we will release the prisoners alive. We can’t waste any more time.”
At the same time, Netanyahu’s office blamed Hamas and claimed that this movement is delaying the return of the regime’s prisoners by creating “imaginary expectations.” One of the leaders of the Hamas movement told the website “Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed” that this movement is still consulting and its leaders are consulting inside and outside to propose a final answer to the proposal of the mediators in Cairo. He revealed that one day before Eid-ul-Fitr, the Zionist regime rejected the plan proposed by the mediators and the US government for a three-day ceasefire and made it dependent on the positive response of the resistance to the plan proposed in Cairo.
This Hamas leader clarified that the plan of the Zionist regime still does not comply with the conditions of the resistance, that is, a permanent ceasefire, the unconditional return of refugees to the north of Gaza, and the arrival of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the settlement and reconstruction of this area. Previously, Hamas had announced that it had learned about the positions of the Zionist regime during the recent negotiations in Cairo. Emphasizing the necessity of trying to end the aggression of the Zionist regime in Gaza, this movement stated: “The positions of this regime are still stubborn and do not consider any of the demands of the nation and the Palestinian resistance.”
