Film depicts Syrian air defense confronting Israeli missile attack

Syrian military sources reported that the Zionist regime launched a missile attack on the southern outskirts of Damascus which were counterattacked by the Syrian air defenses and shot down a number of missiles. Three Syrians were also martyred in these attacks.

Faraan: A Syrian military source said three people were killed in airstrikes by the Israeli army south of Damascus on Friday night. Based on this military source, the occupying army carried out its attacks with surface-to-surface missiles from the occupied Golan, focusing on the outskirts of Damascus and the city’s international airport.

The Syrian army’s air defenses fired a number of missiles into the skies of the southern suburbs of Damascus.
Some news sources also reported that a rocket hit a parking lot near Zeinabia and brought the operations of the road into a halt leading to the village of Al-Rawdha on the southern reef of Damascus.

It is said that this fire occurred two kilometers away from the holy shrine of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and the shrine received no damage. At the same time, some Syrian sources announced the activation of the defense system in the sky of Tartus. The German news agency quoted Syrian sources as saying that the Syrian army anti-aircraft forces in Tartus had countered Israeli aggression.
