Haniyeh: The resistance will continue its way to eradicate the occupiers from the land of Palestine

Media Adviser Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), called the aggression of the Zionist settlers in the occupied city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque “unforgivable” and stressed that the resistance will continue its way until the occupiers are eradicated from the land of Palestine.

Faraan: According to the Al-Khaleej Online news website, Tahir al-Nuno, a media adviser to the head of Hamas’s political bureau, said in a statement that some parties had contacted Ismail Haniyeh to control the situation and prevent further deterioration.

“The current Zionist aggression in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque is an unforgivable issue and the resistance will continue its way to eradicate the occupying regime from the Palestinian territories,” al-Nuno said. He added: “Ismail Haniyeh refused to make any commitment or guarantee to any of the parties who contacted him regarding the possible course of developments within occupied Palestine.”

Al-Nuno stated that the head of the Hamas political bureau called the actions (of the Zionists) in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque as aggression against all Muslims and free people in the world. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced this morning that the number of people injured in yesterday’s Zionist attacks in the eastern part of the occupied city of Jerusalem and the West Bank has reached 200. A number of Palestinians were wounded by plastic bullets fired by Zionist militants in the city of Jerusalem and other parts of the West Bank.

The Zionist police also beat other Palestinians with batons for defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and for protesting against the so-called Zionist flag march. Dozens of the injured were taken to hospital for treatment and others were treated in the field. Yesterday, a large number of Zionists held a so-called flag march with the support of the Zionist military in the streets of the old part of the occupied city of Jerusalem, which was met with a strong reaction from the Palestinian citizens and the defenders of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Violent clashes took place on Salah al-Din Street in Jerusalem, and Israeli police forces attacked Palestinian youths holding Palestinian flags in front of the Zionists. At the same time, a number of Zionist settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, and Israeli police prevented journalists from entering or moving freely in Jerusalem and restricted their movement in the Bab al-Amoud area of ​​the city.

The Zionist army suppressed Palestinian marches against the so-called Zionist flag march on several axes at the Beit Ile checkpoint in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Clashes also broke out in the West Bank cities of Nablus and Hebron. The Jabaliya camp in Gaza also witnessed Palestinians marching in condemnation of the so-called Zionist flag march and their aggression in Jerusalem and in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Zionist forces also detained dozens of Palestinian youths at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Bab al-Salsala.

According to IRNA, the Zionist aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and other areas of the West Bank has faced a wave of widespread condemnation in the Islamic world, and organizations, personalities and high-ranking officials of Islamic countries have warned of the consequences of this aggression against the Zionist regime.
