On Sunday, Morocco launched the first direct air route for passenger flights to the occupied Palestine and another Moroccan Airlines plane flew to Tel Aviv.
Faraan: The plane also included a delegation of Moroccan businessmen. According to a statement from the Kingdom of Morocco Lines Company, the purpose of the line is to facilitate transportation between the two countries for all Moroccan travelers and traders.
The direct route between Morocco and occupied Palestine was expected to open late last year. However, it was delayed due to the closure of the border because of the Corona epidemic. This route includes four trips per week.
Moroccan Airlines announced that the opening of the new route is in response to the demands of the Moroccan community living in the occupied Palestine, which has strong ties with its home country.
The Zionist Airlines also launched a direct route to the west in late July, but flights were suspended due to border closures.
