Faraan: There is no rational reason for the US to support Israel. The non-recognition of Israel in the Middle East is a good reason for the US government to come to its senses and reconsider its relations with the Israeli regime.
Charles W. Freeman, the ambassador to Saudi Arabia in the Bush (senior) administration, states, “Certainly the Israeli regime cannot survive for a moment without the US support. This is because in the first place, 20 to 25 percent of the Zionist regime’s defense budget is provided by the United States, that is, 26 percent of the total three billion that the Zionist regime spends every year on the production of weapons and war expenses. Another reason is that thanks to the support and attention of the US Congress, half of the costs of the Zionist regime’s defense and military research and development projects are also unquestionably provided by the US. Moreover, the United States also bears a lot of the costs of managing companies and securing the salaries of the Israeli employees.”
Based on the calculations done, it is estimated that the US government has spent more than $ 1.4 trillion and 490 million since 1949 to date, in support to the Zionist regime.
There is no rational reason for the US to support Israel. The non-recognition of Israel in the Middle East is a good reason for the US government to come to its senses and reconsider its relations with the Israeli regime.
