“I see a light at the end of the tunnel … I wish all the Arabs were like the UAE and loved Israel and did not throw it in the water … There is nothing better than the millionaire Arabs, who completely forgot the Palestinian people … and said: Israel would remain from the Nile to the Euphrates …”. These were the lyrics of the song by an Israeli singer “Noam Shuster” that he sang for his Emirati friends, who support normalization.
The lyrics of this song are so clear that there is no need for analysis and explanation. The song clearly shows the humiliation of the Arab governments, especially the United Arab Emirates, which have recognized Israel, and have normalized relations with it and knelt before it; but the Israelis still easily ridicule and humiliate them.
It should be noted that this song was sung in Arabic so that its message could be conveyed directly to the Arabs of normalization, and they should not be allowed to censor their translations; and as a result they should be deprived of the opportunity to avoid being insulted, ridiculed and mocked by their Israeli friend.
There is disagreement over the purpose of this song by Israeli singer Noam Schuster: Some believe that the singer, as an Israeli social worker, has criticized the UAE’s shameful normalization of relations with Israel. Some believe she intended to demean and humiliate pro-normalization Arabs, especially the UAE. And it all stems from Israelis ridicule and satire of Arabs.
The UAE, by normalizing relations with the Zionist regime – which was beyond all new and old normalizations – has put itself in such a tragic situation that now Israelis express its desires openly that “they wish all the Arabs were like the UAE”, the exact thing that mentioned in the song of Shuster; and that “Israel seized the property and capital of the Arabs, and drove Palestine out of their hearts and minds as well”.
Finally, we ask two questions from the Arab countries that have played a key role in normalization and their propaganda trumpets:
1. If this song had been sung by an Arab and especially a Lebanese singer, what would have been their stance? Would they still swallow their tongues and forget their sovereignty and national integrity? Or as – when the Lebanese Minister George Kordahi stressed the need to stop the Saudi coalition’s futile invasion of Yemen, all the Arab rulers in the Persian Gulf outraged at his statement – would they have been outraged at this song as well?
2. Dubai Police Chief Dhahi Khalfan have been the loudest preacher of normalization with Israel. The question is, what is his reaction to this Israeli song? Will he respond to this Israeli singer in the form of a tweet, as he used to tweet on every issue? Will they avenge the insulting Israeli song and write a song in response to the Israeli song and ask an Emirati singer sing that? Or will he swallow his tongue like other big and small Arab sheikhs did? And are the Arabs – especially the Emirati – rulers angry at the humiliation of the Zionists and the West? It should be noted that former President Trump had repeatedly insulted Arab rulers, including Saudis and Emiratis, and this trend continues even today in the West and the usurper Zionist regime.
