Israeli Writer: Declare the Illusion of Victory in Gaza and Leave Sooner!

FARAAN: A Zionist journalist addressed the authorities of this regime, saying, “To portray an image of an illusory victory and a fake smile, announce that you have been victorious and have removed the military branch of Hamas from Gaza; what matters is to leave Gaza!”

According to the Sama News Agency report, Zionist journalist Jeda’un Levi wrote in his article addressing Israeli authorities, “Soon, in the coming days, Israel will announce that it has removed the military branch of Hamas from Gaza and has triumphed in the war against Gaza; but really, what victory? It doesn’t matter; the important thing is to exit Gaza.”

This Israeli writer emphasized: “The aim of declaring the destruction of Hamas’s military power is to facilitate the withdrawal of more forces from Gaza, transfer them to the northern front, and initiate a grand victorious operation in Lebanon, akin to the victory parade in Gaza. However, this victory will be more terrifying than previous ones. Therefore, we hope that Israel announces anything that fills the hearts of its cabinet, army, journalists, and citizens with pride. But the crucial issue is to leave Gaza. So, whatever you (Israeli authorities) wish to say, the important thing is to exit Gaza.”

The Zionist journalist added: “Of course, there has been no victory in Gaza and there will be none. But if Israel needs to create a deceptive scene to justify climbing down from the bloody tree it unnecessarily climbed, then fabricating the illusion of victory is permissible for it. It’s true that Hamas has suffered military setbacks, but it has triumphed in all dimensions. Israel has endured devastating blows socially, politically, ethically, and economically. Nevertheless, let the media portray Israel’s heroism as Tel Aviv desires.

Yes, Israel has suffered severe damage in Gaza and faced a heavy defeat, unlike any of its previous losses. Israel has recklessly plunged into the quagmire of Gaza, resulting in the deaths of many Palestinians and Zionist soldiers, ultimately transforming into a despicable and detested regime.
Jeda’un Levi wrote: “Behind this war, there is a constant principle for Israel that after October 7th, there is no other solution but war. Now, it moves north with this same lie, claiming it is forced to act in Lebanon to restore security and return residents of the Galilee to their homes. It is clear that we must do something else, but in another front, a front more terrifying than before, victory will not be achieved here either.”

This Israeli writer points out that all evidence and indicators suggest it is time for Tel Aviv to leave Gaza through an agreement with Hamas, end the war, and take a step towards freeing captives and thousands of Palestinian prisoners. Achieving such an agreement is possible and beneficial. This is the only way to prevent a widespread war on the northern border. We must do whatever it takes to achieve this. Now, for Israel, there is no catastrophe more terrifying than war in the north. Reaching an agreement with Hamas prevents this. Without the withdrawal of the last Israeli soldiers from Gaza, there is no halt to war, and nothing but an agreement with Hamas can prevent a full-scale war. Certainly, this is not what the generals and political authorities promised us, nor what most Israelis thought, but it must happen, and there is no alternative.

When the head of the electricity network warns that life in Israel will be impossible after a 72-hour power outage, and the Minister of Religious Affairs says his ministry is prepared for mass burials, then it is better to refrain from beating the war drum and ask: Is this what we want? Will we stand against this resistance? Will the Israeli army achieve another victory for us after the “victory” in Gaza? Don’t say there are no options because the option of an agreement with Hamas and a complete retreat from Gaza exists.
