A specialist in al-Quds (Jerusalem) affairs has warned of a dangerous Israeli plan to Judaize the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma prayer area.
Faraan: In press remarks published on Sunday, al-Quds affairs researcher Shuaib Abu Seneina said that the Bab al-Rahma prayer area is targeted by the Israeli occupation police and extremist temple mount groups.
Abu Seneina added that the Israeli occupation authority prevents the Islamic Awqaf authority in al-Quds from carrying out any renovation works in Bab al-Rahma in order to pave the way for its plan to take over the place and turn it into a synagogue. He called on Muslim worshipers to necessarily intensify their presence in Bab al-Rahma and across the Aqsa Mosque compound all the time to foil any Israeli plan targeting the holy site.
He also pointed to the presence of great dangers threatening the Aqsa Mosque’s foundations and structure because of the Israeli underground diggings taking place in the southwestern area of the holy site in particular. For his part, Jerusalemite researcher Ziyad Abhees warned of Israeli plans to gradually impose Talmudic rituals at the Aqsa Mosque and Judaize the landmarks around it.
Abhees also said that Jewish groups plan to carry out a mass break-in at the Aqsa Mosque on the Ashura Day in August, and called on Muslim worshipers to frequent the Mosque to protect it against any danger.
