Lebanon’s situation will improve by relying on inside and strengthening unity

The Lebanese identity must be improved by relying on internal strength and strengthening national unity in a democratic atmosphere, this is the way out of the current crisis in Lebanon, Rodney Shakespeare said, referring to the situation in Lebanon and the country’s exit from the crisis.

The growing challenge in Lebanon’s relations with some Arab regimes has been obvious, apparently due to the comments of Lebanese Information Minister George Kordahi in declaring the war against Yemen futile.

However, he made these remarks a month before the start of his ministry position and was one of the TV presenters who were proudly invited by the Saudi channels at the same time! These developments have shown that the Arab-American axis is trying to take advantage of this event to achieve its long-standing goals against Hezbollah.

Following the war crimes of the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen and the killing of civilians in the country, as well as the recent political tensions between Saudi Arabia with Lebanon, Professor Rodney Shakespeare, British political analyst, and expert talked about Saudi positions in West Asia on Monday in an exclusive interview.

At the beginning of his comments, Shakespeare called Saudi Arabia a medieval and authoritarian regime and said about the situation in Yemen: “One of the richest countries in the world is carrying out a form of genocide in one of the poorest countries in the world.”

“The other Arab authoritarian regimes are supporting Saudi Arabia because they wish to suppress democracy in West Asia. Moreover, the desire to suppress democracy in West Asia is also the reason why Israel and the USA are supporting Saudi Arabia,” he added.

“The Lebanese identity must be improved by relying on internal strength and strengthening national unity in a democratic atmosphere, this is the way out of the current crisis in Lebanon,” Rodney Shakespeare concluded, referring to the situation in Lebanon and the country’s exit from the crisis.
