FARAAN: In response to the continuous threats from Zionist regime officials against Lebanon and Hezbollah, the Mufti of Lebanon’s Jafari sect warned this regime of a massive missile attack if war is declared against Lebanon. Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, the Mufti of Lebanon’s Jafari sect, emphasized on Sunday that in any open war by Israel against Lebanon, this regime should expect around half a million missiles. He stated that the destructive capacity of these missiles is such that it will set the occupying regime back by 70 years.
Addressing the Zionists, Sheikh Qabalan stressed that the resistance is the cornerstone of Lebanon’s survival and future, and that Lebanon’s sovereignty is linked to the capabilities of the resistance and the vastness of its national arsenal. He added that any escalation by the occupiers will not end in favor of Israel, but rather to the advantage of the resistance, which seeks nothing but the protection of Lebanon’s sovereignty and national interests from this battle.
The Mufti of Lebanon’s Jafari sect also stated that the era of Tel Aviv’s victories is over, and relying on the defeat of the resistance is a reliance on a mirage. He further noted that for eight months, despite all its equipment and reserves, the Israeli army has been unable to confront the resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip with their simple and individual weapons. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, an arsenal and war technology await the enemy.
Sheikh Qabalan concluded by highlighting that the victory of the resistance means the victory of Lebanon, and that some should support Lebanon instead of being the voice of Israel. According to IRNA, since the beginning of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip against the occupying soldiers, the Islamic resistance of Lebanon has also launched extensive operations in the northern occupied Palestine to engage part of the military capabilities of the occupiers.
The Zionist regime’s media, acknowledging the severe impacts of the Islamic resistance fighters’ strikes on northern occupied Palestine, have announced that Hezbollah’s operations have turned into a war of attrition and the crushing of the Zionist settlements in this region. The use of modern weapons, anti-tank arms, and precision arms by Hezbollah Lebanon has caused fear and panic among the occupiers, leading to the evacuation of a significant portion of the Zionist settlements in northern occupied Palestine. According to Zionist regime military experts, Hezbollah Lebanon alone has engaged half of this regime’s army strength on the northern front, preventing the occupying army from having a strong presence on the southern front.
Likewise, the Commander of the Army’s Ground Forces stated that if the Zionist regime attacks Lebanon, the resistance axis will not remain silent and will respond harshly to the Zionists’ mischief. In an interview, Amir Heydari addressed the claims made by some officials of the Zionist regime regarding a full-scale war with the resistance front, stating that the “Promise of Truth” operation has altered the conditions and equations in the West Asia region. The Commander of the Army’s Ground Forces, explaining that the “Promise of Truth” operation has changed many old formulas and that a new situation prevails in the region today, added that Islamic Iran, as an emerging power in the region, has demonstrated its capabilities by launching missile attacks on the hateful Zionist regime’s positions in the occupied territories.
Amir Heydari then referred to the Zionists’ crimes in Gaza, stating that the Zionist regime is confused and has sunk into the quagmire of Gaza. He also mentioned that the regime’s threats against Hezbollah in Lebanon are not new. According to Mehr, the Commander of the Army’s Ground Forces emphasized the high capabilities of the resistance front, asserting that in the event of an attack by the Zionist regime on Lebanon and the start of a widespread conflict with Hezbollah, the resistance axis will not remain silent and will give a harsh response to the Zionists’ mischief.
