The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen, while condemning the statements of the British ambassador in that country, emphasized that London stands in the stronghold of the corrupt, thieves and terrorists and seeks to throw stones on the road to peace in Yemen.
Faraan: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen emphasized in a statement that it condemns the criminal position of the British government against the Yemeni nation and the attempt to prevent the establishment of peace in that country.
It is stated in this statement that the British ambassador’s statements publicly betrayed London’s criminal role in increasing the problems of the Yemeni people. The statement added: “The statements of the British ambassador show that London is behind the economic war against Yemen, including the policy of encirclement and starving the people of this country. Britain is daily adding to the problems of the Yemeni people and is brazenly in the stronghold of the corrupt, thieves and standing with the terrorists.
In the continuation of this statement, it is stated that the UK, with its criminal behavior, brings shame to its people and through its ambassador, admits to being involved in war crimes against humanity in Yemen. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen added that the British crimes give the Yemeni people the right to try and punish the British government through all legal and legitimate means.
The aforementioned statement added that the responsibility for all criminal acts in Yemen rests with the United States and the United Kingdom, and that the country is seeking to stonewall the path of peace in Yemen and the resumption of military operations in that country. In this statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen also warned against the continuation of tension-causing measures and demanded to ignore the statements of the United Kingdom and the United States.
This ministry also asked the United Nations and all the free people of the world to condemn the obvious British interference in the internal affairs of Yemen, which is aimed at harming the peace in that country, as well as to make a fair and just assessment of the economic situation in Yemen in order to end the human problems of its people. “James Kariuki”, the diplomat of the British government at the United Nations, claimed: “The prevention of the Houthis (Ansarullah) from exporting oil has faced the Yemeni government with a serious economic crisis. “We ask the international community to take all measures to reduce this impact and support the Yemeni government at this critical time.”
This is Kariuki’s claim while the officials of the National Salvation Government of Yemen emphasize the need to fulfill the demands of the Yemeni people, including the benefit of government employees from the country’s oil revenues as a precondition for renewing the ceasefire.
Until now, the aggressor coalition, which occupies some areas and southern provinces of Yemen, looted Yemeni oil and exported it, and gave a part of the oil revenue to the government in Yemen, but the Yemeni army is dependent on it. The National Salvation Government of this country recently stopped the theft of Yemeni oil with two military operations and announced that it will not allow exports until the demands of the Yemeni people, including the salaries of Yemeni employees, are paid.
