Sermon 1: Tawakkal is not Allah’s personalized affair but a system
Sermon 2: Qatar is warned to pressurize Hamas to unconditionally release hostages
Allah has ordained Taqwa a divine plan for protection of life in the system of guidance. One of the protection plans from Allah is in the state of defense or surrounded by enemies. For believers his path is such that he will have enemies because he will not accept the obedience, dominance of anyone else other than Allah. Whenever man accepts the obedience of some Taghoot he has gone on the path of destruction. People, rulers, Taghoot’s will get pleased but he has selected the path of destruction. If you remain believer then you will have to face enmities and dangers. Here as well Allah has made arrangement for believers to remain secure specifically when the believers are less, means are less as compared to those with enemies. In this situation as well, Allah has made arrangement for their protection and salvation.
In Surah Maida, verse no 11, Allah is addressing the believers
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ أَنْ يَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ {11}
O you who believe! remember Allah’s favor on you when a people had determined to stretch forth their hands towards you, but He withheld their hands from you, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and on Allah let the believers rely.
There are two orders in context of the subject in this verse for believers. It is not just war but believers for whatever reason they can come under siege of enemies. For example, one situation is in Gaza and other is in India. In Palestine there is war where believers are alert but they are less in numbers, unarmed without any help. But in India there is no war and neither are Muslims in state of war, confrontation, resistance but the aggression is on both places. During these days when it is the atmosphere of election the aggression is high on Muslims. In both the places there is dominance of enemies on Muslims. Here we can see that Allah has ordained a law from Quran for both the situations. In both situations if they adopt these two laws of Taqwa and Tawakkal then Allah will control the hands of enemies and Muslims will not get annihilated by enemies. This has been counted as bounty from Allah that he withheld the hands of enemies. The method of protection through Taqwa is different for every field. In the field of battle, resistance has a different form and in non-battle situations it is different.
Taqwa is for protection of life and Taqiyya is the protection of religion. We can see whether Muslims have acquired Taqwa. We can see Muslims in prayers, worship, Hajj, Umrah but these cannot stop Israel. Fasting is Taqwa but we can see several battles were fought in Ramadan because the Taqwa in battle is different.
The second thing is Tawakkal which means believers should keep Tawakkal on Allah. There is one common meaning of Tawakkal which is present in everyone’s minds and this has also come from the subjects of ethics and Sufism. We understand Tawakkal as whatever we cannot do, we should handover to Allah and then keep reliance on Allah to do things which we were supposed to do. This is not the Quranic meaning but coming out from fields of intellectual science. The Sufism have gone more in depth with more spirituality but both the interpretations are not Tawakkal. In literature Tawakkal means to hand over something in the hands of others. Some have talked about specifics like you do this when you are weak. It is not that when you are weak and cannot do something is not present in the literal meaning of Tawakkal. This is an amendment done by the scholars of ethics and Sufism. As per Quranic meaning whether you are weak or powerful you should hand over all the affairs small and big to Allah. But to handover to Allah, we have to understand the system of Allah. We have a lot of occupancies which Quran terms as Lahw which are those acts those distances from our purpose of life. Our attentions are locked with these Lahw and hence it does not go towards those places where it should go.
The universe of Allah is based on system. There are certain governments that has laws but certain places like Saudi have no laws but only King. We think Allah is like a King when people present themselves Allah immediately takes a decision and gives order or makes a law. He orders the angels to do something or not for certain people who are seeking. This is Shirk and everything based on this concept is misguidance. Allah has made the universe and then a system for entire universe and everything is created and running based on the system. That system does not stop anywhere. Then inside the universe Allah has made another system that is Shariat. The first system is for all creation but then there are laws for human beings which are termed as Sunan e Ilahi (divine customs). For human being the laws which is termed as religion is Sunan of Allah. There is a system under which everyone is running. It is not that Allah on daily basis issues new instructions based on what people in different places are doing. Allah is not running after creation and waiting for them to do something then I will see what order I have to give. This is the fundamental mistake where Scholars could not express it clearly hence there remained gaps due to which we made imaginations about Allah.
The system made by Allah is also planned and organized. There are various dimensions of human life and Allah has ordained a system for this. Let us take an example from this world so that we can understand this system. Like in Industrial world we know how things are produced through a system which we all understand. For example, if we see the textile system, first cotton is planted in fields which is also under a system then only cotton will grow. Then the next phase of system starts to remove it from field and cleansed. Then the third system is to turn into yarn and then next system turns it into cloth and then eventually it comes in the use of man. From field to man, it went through various systems. There are many systems connected together. The farmer will do their work and then hand over the cotton to someone else like factories. The factories then produce field and hand over to third system. This way if you take wheat coming from field to mill, to packing, distribution then a morsel of food lands in your mouth. One system delivers their part like farmer who does his part and hands over to other system. Tawakkal means what you have done now handover to other system which is for world acts where man hands to others. This is not the Quranic Tawakkal.
Tawakkal means do your part and then hand over to other system. The worldly examples I have given is to prepare the minds. The Allah’s systems are like this only whereby in certain phases of the system man is involved as worker whereby that part is handed over to man. If you do not deliver this then what will you hand over to others? Like when a child is born you hand over to school, but if someone has not even got married? For handing over you should have something to hand over for the next phase. Allah has made systems in order and we have to learn religion as per this order. We have laws which are not connected to things hence we consider religion as useless. The education of religion is not that you understand laws but you should understand the systems. We have to understand religion, universe of Allah in accordance to the system. An animal only considers the universe as fodder, but a scientist can see the system and discovers one after another. Religion also has layers of systems and we have to understand religion as per this order. Today a question is what is the use of religion in this world because affairs are being managed by the PM. Tawakkal means in the system of Allah certain phases are handed over to man. I can give an example of IT; you write something and then forward to someone or to print. This send, forward is Tawakkal. Allah’s systems are like this only where they are connected and sequential. You have to make one file and then forward, this is Tawakkal. What you have done, you handover to Allah but not what you are supposed to do you hand over that also Allah. One Bedouin came to Prophet and kept his camel outside mosque untied and then it ran away. Prophet asked what happened, he said left camel outside with Tawakkal on Allah. The Prophet asked did you tie the legs of camel. He said No. The Prophet said this is not Tawakkal. To handover things to Allah does not mean you write to angels to take it to office of Allah. It means to hand over to the system of Allah. If believers understand the system of Allah and handover to Allah like you hand over baggage to Airline is Tawakkal. Did you not get in mind that it can get robbed. But you have in your mind that this is a system because Airline has system. It is common in world. Today containers of goods come from China. Someone buys and hands over to logistics company who bring it to destination. You handover things and you have Emaan, trust due to which you rely on them and hand over.
Allah says I am the Lord who has made the system, and certain parts, stages are for you to fulfill. So do your work, then handover to Allah and have faith. You have to trust, rely on the system of Allah. The believers trust schools like Beacon house, Aitchison and handover their children to them and not to divine schools. The Tawakkal Quran is presenting is reliance on the system of Allah. The entire social system should be made as per the plan given by Allah and handover your children, everything to the system of Allah. And one who hands over his affairs to Allah’s system nothing gets wasted. Today Muslims are wasted because they have left the system of Allah. Allah does not allow any part of human life to get wasted. If man hands over his existence to Allah, they are Prophets, Saaliheen, Siddiqeen. You are invited to Hajj to follow the path of Ibrahim. If we make our lives as per Ibrahims life then the product would be Ibrahim and Ismael. If you hand over yourself after doing your part to Allah like Ibrahim did then Allah made him esteemed and made him as model.
We don’t have Tawakkal because we have hypocrites. Allah says some claim that they are believers but they are not instead they deceive Allah but they are themselves under deception. If you are believer then rely on Allah. This verse is about the field of Jihad where we should struggle in one phase and then hand over to Allah.
SERMON 2
Without Taqwa humanity turns into beasts and the current generation is a proof for that. It has been proven that these people neither have religion nor humanity. This is because we don’t have Taqwa. Today there are highly educated scholars, religious leaders, scholars, capitalists and claimants of everything but everyone has turned out to be failure in humanity. When Barbarism has started in Gaza all these 8 billion have closed their eyes. Without Taqwa we can see how much humanity has been lost today.
Qatar, Egypt, Saudi, Emirates are same enemies like Israel and America. They have grabbed Palestinians. The leadership of Hamas is in Qatar and America has kept Qatar for this work only to control the crisis in the region. It is the capital of seditions. They have given refuge to the Hamas leadership. America has said Qatar, Egypt to apply pressure on Hamas to release all the hostages then we will talk about Ceasefire. Now America has said both that without any condition get the hostages released else we will review our relationship with you. Qatar has now said that we leave the role of arbitration and has warned Hamas that we will remove you from our country if you do not release hostages. They will hand over them to Israel or Egypt. This is coming in news. This is the pressure on Hamas but this is a proof that Israel has been defeated in this battle even though they have ruined Gaza and more than 100,000 women and children are killed. Israel raided Shifa Hospital, killed everyone and buried them. In one Hospital they even buried alive people and the pictures are coming out every day. Despite of this the shameful behavior of Muslims show that humanity is dead.
The religious sentiments of Pakistani madrassa can be seen that if a women dresses with Arabic text they are ready to burn but their passions did not rise for seven months. They are on street everyday for defending religion. But today all this is happening, the Quran is also buried in Palestine. The human self is more prestigious. In America non-Muslim students have put up camps for Palestine. They are ordinary people but their humanity has not died inside them. Their voice is powerful and America is doing crackdown on them. And our country is full with Madrassa’s who are ready to behead but where they are now? The students who are there for studies have risked their studies for Palestine. You can see religious organizations who are ready to challenge anyone who speaks about Islam. These scholars who cannot even see humanity being butchered but they do not take care.
America has approved 100 billion USD to be granted to Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel. Has anyone developed hatred towards America. The American army person has burnt himself and the Muslims living there and across the world has crossed the level of empathy. Here we should respect the worth who in this graveyard are not dead with conscience. Because of such people alive on earth Allah’s punishment has not come. They should raise their voice so much that they can awaken these dead and motivate the oppressed. If we forget Palestine and do something else it would be a sin. How these scholars will answer Allah and get salvation. I don’t think they have any justification to get forgiven for their silence. If they release voice and just give statements the problems can get solved but they don’t have courage to give verdicts. Islami Haniya’s entire family got killed, his 4 sons and then grandsons but no one has seen tears in their eyes. His daughter in law addressed the Arabs in the funeral that we will not ask help from you because you are disgraced, humiliated and dead. We are alive and alive do not seek help from dead. This is true for every Muslim and specifically Shias who take the name of Hussain. The name of Hussain should come wherever there is oppression. Wherever there is Yazidiat there is Hussainiat. The Hussainis are those who take the risk of life and stand against oppression. The true Azadari is to raise voice against oppression. This voice should not get succumbed. With the blood of martyrs, the children Allah will end this oppression and destroy and disgrace Israel and their allies in this world and hereafter.
