Reacting to the Israeli regime’s repeated aggressions, the Russian ambassador to Syria said that Tel Aviv was seeking to provoke Moscow to react.
Faraan: Russia’s ambassador to Syria, Alexander Yefimov, has reacted to the Israeli regime’s repeated attacks on Syria. “Israel (with these actions) is inciting us to react,” he said. Yefimov added that the aim of these measures was to escalate tensions, resume military operations and open the space for the West to conduct military activities in Syria.
“We must be patient and not take actions that may have unpredictable and negative consequences, but that does not mean that Russia will not do something,” he said. The Zionist regime has repeatedly attacked positions in Syria, attacks that are mainly carried out at night and by jet fighter. The regime continues to ignore the protests of Syria and some other parties to these aggressions.
