Sermon 1: Outcomes of possessing Eman, Taqwa, Tawakkal
Sermon 2: Salutations to the students of American universities and disgrace on Muslims
In daily life we trust and rely on various things , like when you employ some workers, or do trading with someone there is trust on each other. When a farmer sows a seed, he has Tawakkal that this seed will grow if there is soil and other means. But how much is dependent on the means and how much is in Allah’s hands. Our teacher would say if some wealthy person says you do study and I will take care of all your expenses, we become happy and trusted, but the same promise has been given by Allah but we don’t have even 1% Tawakkal on Allah. We have Tawakkal on relatives and others but not Allah.
There is a secret which those who are eligible will understand. Everyone does not take the guidance of his part which is present with Quran because there is no place. Quran has expressed certain secrets and in the chapter of Tawakkal. In Surah Talaq, it starts with the issue of divorce.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ ۖ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرًا {1}
O Prophet! when you divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed time, and calculate the number of the days prescribed, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, your Lord. Do not drive them out of their houses, nor should they themselves go forth, unless they commit an open indecency; and these are the limits of Allah, and whoever goes beyond the limits of Allah, he indeed does injustice to his own soul. You do not know that Allah may after that bring about reunion.
فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأَشْهِدُوا ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا {2}
So when they have reached their prescribed time, then retain them with kindness or separate them with kindness, and call to witness two men of justice from among you, and give upright testimony for Allah. With that is admonished he who believes in Allah and the latter day; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah, He will make for him an outlet,
وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ ۚ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا {3}
And give him sustenance from whence he thinks not; and whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him; surely Allah attains His purpose; Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.
When you divorce a woman then let her complete her Iddah before you get her out of home and do this in good manner. Then the actual secret comes in the further verse.
When we asked a friend of Imam Khomeini (r.a) about the secret behind his success, he narrated this verse and said this was the secret which teacher of Imam (r.a) has taught him. The people were not ready for revolution including the scholars who would praise Shah as he is Shia. The scholars first objected to Imam, then Shah and he was exiled and later Imam (r.a) got success. We asked his friend directly and he said when Imam (r.a) expressed his difficulties to his teacher, he got this answer in verse 2 and 3
مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا {2}
And whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah, He will make for him an outlet,
وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ ۚ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا {3}
And give him sustenance from whence he thinks not; and whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him; surely Allah attains His purpose; Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.
Whoever acquires Taqwa Allah establishes a way out from him and provides him with provisions from place, sources where he never even thought about. And whoever does Tawakkal on Allah, Allah suffices for him and Allah makes his affair reach success. Allah has made a system for everything.
This is the secret verse where Allah says whoever has Tawakkal on Allah , Allah makes a way for his provisioning from a source never thought about it. Rizq means any provision that is essential for survival of something which reaches in specific time and required measure. If you possess faith (Emaan), Taqwa and Tawakkal then certain outcomes are there; one is Allah provides outlet for him, enables provisions from unknown sources and Allah makes him independent from others as Allah is sufficient. But for everything Allah has made a system and he does as per that system.
In our lives we are dependent on our affairs on various things, people, corrupt people, partners, police, Judge and this is Tawakkal. If we leave Tawakkal and not trust anyone then you won’t be able to do anything. This Tawakkal is on each other but Allah says this system is mine, you do your part and rest leave to me.
We generally do not trust the promises of Allah. Our same teacher would say on certain specific occasions that when Allah places you in examinations then you should also examine Allah if he fulfills promises or not. Like this promise in Surah Talaq whereby one who has faith, Taqwa and Tawakkal then Allah provides outlet when everything seems to be closed. We are not even ready to examine. In businesses we do test deals but with Allah we are not even ready to test as if we are convinced that these are all vain talks in Quran. We have left Allah and taken outlets like education system provided by parents and have no trust on Allah. Today our country is in difficulties and they are trying to find ways of exit and eventually they found the outlet (Makhraj) from IMF that is by taking more loans. We have not once tested the way shown by Allah. All these democratic people are doing Kufr by not having Tawakkal on Allah. If you do not obey, then this is one type of Kufr. If you do not do Shukr from what Allah has given you by not spending in the ways which Allah has shown you then this is also second type of Kufr and third is Kufr against Tawakkal. Allah has made system of Imamat on which you believe but do not have trust and Tawakkal on it. We have Tawakkal with corrupt, adulterers but not Allah. What the messenger has bought take it.
Today we are living in hybrid world whereby we have mixed two different types of things. Today there are hybrid cars that work on both petrol and batteries. We say that in Pakistan there is hybrid democracy where people cast vote and forces also have their power established. Our culture is hybrid, whereby we are Muslims, Hindus and also Western. The most hybrid thing is our religion. We have taken certain things from Quran, certain things from Ahlulbayt (a) , then from culture. We have religion in our lives it is equivalent to salt in bread. In one Kg of flour, you put one pinch of salt. The flour is not religion the pinch of salt is religion, some have blood pressure so they only put salt in religion during Moharram or Ramadan. In our marriages only Nikah is from religion.
If we had exclusive religion then all our system would be from religion, our constitution would be Quran, our leader would be Wali and our manifesto would be Imamat. We have not done Tawakkal on Allah. Is there any problem in having Tawakkal on Allah? If you do Tawakkal on Allah then Allah has kept all ways for you. This hybrid religion is just illusion whereby paradise is being created on order by orators. We have paid money to designers for designing paradise. The end of hybrid system if hell.
The Tawakkal is a deep secret which Allah has expressed and those who have been successful in religion it is from these secrets. We should be able to adapt these promises of Allah and become successful.
SERMON 2
Life without Taqwa turns man into worse than beasts whose examples are seen in history as narrated by Quran and biggest evidence of this is present today in the current generation’s beastly actions. Today whatever is happening in Gaza and Palestine. Everyone today is silent on this beastly aggression in general. But still, we can unexpected humanity in certain places. Like today in American university students have raised voice to such an extent that the American system is using power, force against them even though most of them are not Muslims. They have put resistance camps, singing songs for Free Palestine and certain universities in California have tortured students and arrested them. Biden says we are not tyrant but for Palestinian we will not allow anyone to raise voice. They did not expect but in the house of Satan this has happened. These girls are not having Hijab but they have presented an esteemed character than Muslim women clad in Hijab. They are continuously protesting inside and outside universities which has given tranquility to Palestinian. If we see the universities in Pakistan and other Muslim nations like Indonesia, Malaysia. The 100’s of religious Madrassa’s have not raised voices but these universities are not Madrassa but they have learnt humanity and challenging their government that you are doing this in Palestine and is crime. 100’s of thousands have been martyred in Palestine and now see what media has said. In border near Western Jordan one child was killed by Israeli forces and now they have said that this is a war crime, but 1000’s of children killed in Palestine are not seen by them.
Our foreign minister has visited OIC and praised them because OIC is lead by Saudi. The OIC has not done anything till date for Muslims. Then you see this chameleon Erdogan and all these animals are symbols of human attributes. Such kind of people change colors wherever they are present subject to the type of people there. Erdogan is a hero of certain simpleton in Pakistan. In Dawn news today it is mentioned that Turkey have disconnected all trading relations with Israel. Turkey is the role model for Nasibi’s and Takfirist. Iran has placed sanctions on Britain and America which even though is symbolic act but needs courage. As per Al Jazeera, Turkey has disconnected the relations with Israel due to tyranny in Gaza and will not deal till end of war in Gaza. This means Turkey was trading with Israel till day and the most support has been provided by Turkey. Why these restrictions have been placed by Israel? This is because Israel’s foreign minister has aroused Turkish people to stand against Erdogan because he is a dictator who is suppressing the economic interests of people and country. Turkey was taking oil free from Azerbaijan and transporting to Israel Airforce for nearly 300 to 400 flights by Israel force. There are 54 items which Turkey was exporting to Israel. The trading between Israel and Turkey was 6 billion USD before Gaza war and after this it reached 9 billion dollars which only Turkey was exporting. Turkey has given air bases and training bases to Israel. Erdogan has not cut off diplomatic relations with Israel as he not closed Israeli embassy. Azerbaijan has given entire border connecting with Iran to Israel through Turkey where Israel has established bases. Our Foreign secretary lady is giving statements daily that we are not giving any bases to America. So why they are saying this every other day? America wants bases all around Iran and this they want desperately after Iran’s attack on Israel. Now when IMF is approving 8 billion USD loans immediately to Pakistan is not free lunch. This is the state of Muslims and their characters. What has started in American university was expected, because the blood of these martyrs will show colors. Qatar is giving instructions to Hamas to leave Qatar if they cannot release prisoners and Jordan is inviting Hamas to come to Jordan which is worse as they are most serious partners to Israel. The ex-secretary of America has announced that six Arab countries have guaranteed protection of Israel. Turkey, Jordan , Saudi , UAE has played a big role in defending Israel. Every Palestinian child’s blood has hands of Erdogan and Pakistanis should know this. We salute these children and students of American university who have no relationship with Palestinians but they are raising voice, but the Muslims who have relationship are in a disgraceful state.
