Settlement in Al-Naqab for displaced Ukrainian Jews

The World Zionist Organization’s settlement department announced the beginning of its efforts to build settlements in Al-Naqb for displaced Ukrainian Jews.

Faraan: The World Zionist Organization’s settlement department has announced that it has begun movements to build 1,000 housing units for Jews fleeing Ukraine.

According to the Shahab news agency, Yashar Merling, head of the organization’s settlement department, said that a few weeks before the start of the conflict in Ukraine, he had presented a detailed plan to provide temporary housing for Ukrainian Jewish families seeking to immigrate to the occupied Palestine.

According to the report, the project includes the construction of residential units from 55 meters to 90 square meters for Ukrainian Jewish immigrants. Moreover, the mentioned units are to be built near the northern borders in “Al-Naqab”, “Wadi Arabah”, “Wadi Al-Yanabi” in “Bisan” and “Jordan Valley”.

The Naqab Desert is located in the 1948 Occupied Territories and covers an area of about 14,000 square kilometers where the Arab tribes live in difficult conditions and limited facilities due to the Zionist regime’s racial discrimination. The Zionist regime has recently started digging and destroying the property of Arab residents in order to Judaize areas of Al-Naqab, and has faced widespread protests.

The sixth day of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine comes as Russian and Ukrainian delegations met in the Belarusian city of Gomel yesterday (Monday) after controversy, with the Russian delegation calling for Ukraine’s disarmament a condition of agreement with Kiev. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinsky has called for an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine to reach an agreement with Russia.
