FAARAN: Criticizing his country’s participation in the killing of children in Gaza, the American Democratic Senator demanded the suspension of financial and military aid from the Washington government to the Zionist regime.
According to Al-Alam, US Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders said in an interview with CBS TV yesterday: What we are witnessing today in Gaza is literally an unprecedented crisis and is not limited to the death of 30,000 people whereby more than 60% of them are women and children, but we are considering the possibility that hundreds of thousands of children will die of hunger, and the United States of America cannot be complicit in this mass killing of children.
Sanders continued: “Therefore, talking to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to put pressure on him is the only solution, but the point is, year after year, we give billions of dollars in military aid to Israel while a far-right group is in power.” This senior American senator added: “There are plans to provide another 10 billion in military aid without limits to Netanyahu, what can you tell Netanyahu? Stop the killing and let in the massive flood of humanitarian aid we need to feed starving children.”
He said: “We wrote a letter to the President (Biden) and it is clear that Israel is breaking the law and stopping American humanitarian aid to the Palestinians is a violation of the law. It must be made clear that there is no more money for Netanyahu’s war machine to kill Palestinian children, I believe it is the right thing to do.”
The American publication “Washington Post” recently revealed that since the beginning of the Gaza war, the White House has sent more than 100 secret weapons shipments to Israel, which include guided missiles, small-diameter bombs, anti-terrorist bombs, firearms and other weapons. It is military ammunition. It should be mentioned that most of the attacks of the Zionist regime army on the Gaza strip have been carried out with American bombs and missiles.
