The anniversary of the holy defense; the defeat of the enemy’s plots and the transformation of Iran into a regional power

FARAAN: On the 22nd of Shahrivar 1359, Saddam invaded the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Only less than a year and a half had passed since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and the leadership and the people of Iran were at the same time trying to bring order to the situation in Iran and confronting the conspiracies of the West and the East, which were trying to topple the revolution or divert it from their Islamic approach with all their might.
Analysis:
Five days before Saddam’s Baath regime attacked Iran, especially on 26 Shahrivar 1359, Saddam announced the cancellation of the 1975 Algerian agreement. Before this date, in Isfand 1358, the Iraqi army was trying to build roads on the border with Iran. This showed that Saddam had been planning to attack Iran for a long time with the support, coordination and complicity of America, the West and some Arab regimes, and later he himself admitted in audio and video and said that the war was a conspiracy to hit Iraq and Iran!
From the end of the war until today, the published books and reliable studies, as well as the statements of senior Iraqi officials, both political and military, all confirm that the war was designed by an American, financed by some Arab countries and implemented by Saddam. Someone who was extremely obsessed with power and wanted to become the leader of the Arabs, Western intelligence and America at the head of them was able to exploit this issue.
Iran’s Islamic Revolution overturned the regional and international equations and disrupted the system of global arrogance, therefore, evil forces attacked Iran from the West and East, and the model presented by Iran’s Islamic Revolution was not compatible with the ruling system of domination. Rather, it was an independent model that was opposed to the capitalist and communist system, so the world witnessed an exceptional case that had never been seen before, which is the union of two enemies for the first time in history; America and the Soviet Union supported Saddam in the war against the Islamic Republic with weapons, money, information and politics.
The war that was imposed on the Islamic Republic was a world war in every sense, in addition to the fact that the Arab countries opened their coffers to Saddam and the West and the East also opened their weapons stores to the Iraqi army, many Western and Eastern countries acted in favor of Saddam. AWACS planes and radars were working day and night to serve Saddam, and France, Britain, and the Soviet Union were outdoing each other to provide Saddam with the latest in military technology.
And this was in addition to providing chemical weapons to Saddam that the Baath regime used these weapons against the Iranian people and military for a long time, and the “civilized” West, which claims to defend the nations, in the face of thousands of Iranians being killed by the weapons, had become silent. At the same time, the Western planes were bombing Iranian oil tankers and civilian planes in the Persian Gulf; in fact, this war was an exceptional and unequal war that the world had never seen before.
The overthrow of the Islamic Republic, the re-establishment of the royal system to bring Iran back under American rule was only one of the goals of the war. However, the main goal was to divide Iran. Saddam wrote a letter to the American embassy in Abu Dhabi and suggested to the Americans that dividing Iran into small countries is the best way to control the Iranian revolution.
