The behavior of foreign media with the terrorist incident in Shiraz

News: With their negative attitude against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Arab and Western media and their Persian-language media affiliates prefer to ignore the terrorist attack on Shiraz shrine pilgrims.

Analysis:

Faraan: While it was expected that similar to what happened on Wednesday night in Shiraz, which resulted in the martyrdom of 15 Iranians and the injury of 40 people, the opposition media would focus their maximum efforts to show the weakness of the security of the Islamic Republic, but this time they did not take such a policy. The reason for this is quite clear. These media are afraid that the purpose of this incident will be linked with the goals of the rioters in the public mind and the result of their so-called 40-day efforts will go to waste.

Additionally, in summary, if the mentioned media emphasize the weakness of security in Iran, then they must answer for the strange propaganda that they have made in the last 40 days, and they have referred to the security forces as armed forces, bloodthirsty and enemies of the people.

In this case, the relevant media are trying to avoid focusing on the terrorist incident in Shiraz and to analyze it in a completely coordinated way. The maximum judgment of these media in dealing with the terrorist operations in Shiraz is to question the responsibility of ISIS in this incident or to question the truth from the Iranian authorities with the focus that disorder is the basis for the emergence of terrorist movements. Obviously, with the recent action, they are trying to connect the ranks of the arsonists with the presence of the protesters.

But regarding the fact that ISIS has claimed responsibility for this operation, some Iranian media have referred to Reuters news and also the announcement attributed to this group, and more than that, there is evidence and documentation and an official position statement from the authorities that confirms this. It is not available to be definitive. Of course, it is absolutely certain that the terrorist attack in Shiraz was directed from beyond the borders, considering the foreign identity of the perpetrator of the operation.

Moreover, no sane mind approves that a government tries to overcome a less serious crisis by creating a crisis next to another. It goes without saying that it is crystal clear that such wandering stances in an intellectual confinement can be caused by two specific situations, firstly, that these media have been aware of the Shiraz incident from the beginning, or that they have been played in a field that they had no knowledge of; In both cases, their media preference has been to pursue a consistent approach in not focusing on Shiraz’s terrorist operations, instead of following each other’s media approaches.

These days, we have witnessed the production of crises in various forms in the Islamic Republic of Iran, even beyond the borders. From the story of riots to accusing Iran of selling drones to Russia against Ukraine and focusing on the killing scenario, accusing Iranian officials of lying and finally launching their terrorist operations on the 40th day of Mahsa Amini. A little reflection on each of these crisis creations and paying attention to their special synchronicities with each other depicts that an intellect detached from the crisis beyond the borders manages the leadership of this hard and soft composite war against the Iranian people.

Although the judgment about the behind the scenes of the Shiraz incident requires investigation, but what is certain is that this action will not be left unanswered. The initial clues in the identification behind the curtain of Shiraz may be found in the foreign supporters of certain media during the riots. Certainly, the answer to the crime of decency is not, and commitment to de-escalation in the face of frequent media and field tensions of those sitting across the borders with the Shiraz incident is no longer the answer.
