The Blazing Flames of Hatred in India and Our Responsibility

FARAAN; As sectarian animosity grows in the country, there are growing concerns that the history of Gujarat in India may be repeated, beastliness may laugh out loud again, and humanity may appear crying and screaming again.

There was a time when India’s religious unity and mutual tolerance were exemplified in the world, and its people were treated with special respect, but sadly, over the last few years, extremist thinking has become so widespread that its effects are now visible everywhere.

This extremist thinking is not limited to a specific place, but it exists everywhere in the country where there is an Islamic identity and Muslims live with their identity. A special ideology that deliberately seeks to eradicate Islamic identity from the whole country. This extremist dogma is not limited to a specific area, but it exists everywhere in the country where there is an Islamic identity and Muslims live with their identity; a shocking dogma that deliberately seeks to eradicate Islamic identity from the whole country.

And now the issue has reached a point where some people have even entered the ghost of religion into trade and commerce.

Apparently a year ago, the government agency “Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority” (APEDA) had decided that the word “Halal” would no longer be written on the packets of “red meat”. At the same time, the word “Halal” will be taken out from its export guide and the exported meat will no longer need “Halal Certificate”. It should be noted that until now, a recipe was affixed to the exported meat, which read: “This meat belongs to an animal that was slaughtered under the supervision of a recognized Islamic organization in accordance with the rules of Sharia, and the certificate of “Halal meat” has been issued by the recognized Islamic organization”. But some individuals and groups also saw their religious identities in the case. While annexing the “Halal” label was just a commercial matter, to export meat to the countries where the people look for Halal meat and do not use Non-Halal. Accordingly, India had a big marketplace for its meat products in the Middle East!
Although the Hindutva organizations have been opposing the label of “Halal meat” from the beginning, and protested to it from time to time, but the way in which their demands have been accepted by the government is astonishing. However, the government initially said that this was not done specifically on the basis of a religion. But given the situation in India, it is clear what is happening and why. On the one hand, by removing the Islamic names of the cities, a certain ideology is promoted and it proven how low their thinking is, on the other hand, an attempt is made to persecute Muslims under the pretext of jihad and divorce. In such a case, if the “Halal Certificate” of meat is revoked, it is clear what is happening behind it. There are many examples of this: Somewhere Muslim clothing is being targeted; somewhere Religious places are being targeted; and in other places, Muslims are persecuted under various pretexts in the field of land and property.

Whether it is a business matter or a house construction or buying an apartment in a building, extremist thinking is prevalent everywhere.

Last year, a Muslim shopkeeper in the Bulandshahr area of western Uttar Pradesh was arrested after an extremist group complained that he was selling shoes bearing the name “Thakur”. “Thakur” is the name of an Indian castes. And then, if action was to be taken, it had to be taken against the owners of the company; So what does it mean to arrest a poor person and imprison him?

It is quite clear that through such actions the Indian administration intends to send a message that if you are a Muslim you can be imprisoned under any pretext and any legal provision can be applied to you, so you have to understand that now the country is changing and you also have to change your tendencies and you have to think the way we want to.

That is why sectarian conflicts are trapped to create an atmosphere of fear among Muslims. And they are trying to make people hear that you have taken your right in the name of Pakistan. Now if you want to live in India, you have to live according to our conditions; and if you agree with us, you are a patriot, otherwise you are a jihadist, a rebel or a traitor, and the reward for such people is a police baton and a prison cell.

As sectarian animosity grows in the country, there are growing concerns that the history of Gujarat in India may be repeated, beastliness may laugh out loud again, and humanity may appear crying and screaming again. It is worth pondering, in a society where brotherhood and love give way to hatred and enmity, how can the animalism dance so naked? It cannot be estimated.

This is the situation of today Muslims. See for yourself how the Muslims are exploited today from all sides. In the case of Ram temple donations in Andhra Pradesh, you can see how the Muslims are abused and how their places of worship and houses are demolished; then they are the ones who are accused and the police detain them from their homes, and the government declares their houses illegal and destroyed.

What has happened in the last two sittings of the Dharm Sansad, from whom is it hidden? These sittings have hurt the foreign reputation of India and damaged India’s credibility worldwide, however, no action was taken against them and they have not yet been questioned. Whilst they are openly threatening the minorities and talking about cutting and killing them.

In view of the above facts, who has not come to the conclusion that a deliberate attempt is being made to completely marginalize the Muslims? The fact that Muslims are found less in jobs and more in prisons, and socio-economically marginalized or boycotted, is now a matter of the past. The current situation is that Religion and Dharm is considered even in purchasing land for housing or renting a place for business. Not only that, even fruit and vegetable sellers are barred from entering Hindu towns, and Muslim shopkeepers are threatened with having to close their shops.

In this situation, we all have to unite and to think about how long this situation will continue? How long will we be considered criminals and accused in our own country? How long will everyone look at us with suspicion? How long will the various parties exploit us to gain our vote? How long will some of our conscienceless leaders bid for us? Isn’t it time to sit together and calculate what we have gained and what we have lost? Isn’t it time for us to recognize the nature of the changing situation? Isn’t it the time for us to beware of the conscienceless so-called leaders, who are bent on risking everything for the sake of cheap fame, and a few pennies. In such a situation, it is important for us to adopt a coherent strategy and plan what to do next. How do we exercise our constitutional right, and how do we take advantage of the voting power unitedly? How can we progress in the field of in science and knowledge and access to key positions in order to support the poor and needy and to give them an honorable place in society and to fight for the rights of those who are always being oppressed. Unfortunately, it is a far cry to speak out against oppression، at present, it has become a habit of Muslims to suffer oppression.
Hopefully we will take time out of our routine schedule and think about of our society and nation as well. InshaAllah
