Odi al-Tamimi recently killed one Zionist and wounded three others in a shooting operation near the Shuafat camp in the occupied Jerusalem. Palestinian sources have published pictures from the moment of Odi al-Tamimi’s martyrdom, which show his resistance to the Zionists until the last moments of his life.

The execution of the operation by Odi Al-Tamimi at Shuafat checkpoint was a security shock for the Israeli occupation in terms of place and time. However, his testimony caused a bigger shock for them because Al-Tamimi in a new confrontation, 100 meters away from the Israeli police headquarters and at the entrance of Ma’ale Adumim, the largest Jewish settlement in occupied Jerusalem, was martyred. The biggest mistake of the Zionist occupiers was the publication of the picture of the first confrontation between Martyr Al-Tamimi and the security forces of Ma’ale Adumim. The aim of the occupiers in releasing this video was to cover up and downplay the heroic operation of the Palestinians at the Shuafat checkpoint, which questioned the security of the Zionist regime and was very humiliating for them.
But on the contrary, in that video, Martyr Al-Tamimi appeared as a bold and calm operator of the operation so that he had the situation completely under his control, while the occupying soldiers only showed their confusion and inability to confront Martyr Al-Tamimi. However, the film of the clash at the gate of Ma’ale Adumim confirms that this young man carried out the first operation with conviction and with unprecedented planning and courage. He returned to the scene with his feet for a direct conflict with the security forces of the Zionist regime and sacrificed his life without putting down his weapon. Tel Aviv must now accept the security failure and distance itself from imaginary victories. The Zionist regime must accept that the new Palestinian generation is different from the previous generations and will start and shape its new era. They are forced to admit that a week and a half intensive intelligence work by the security forces of the Zionist regime did not reach any results and they never found the hiding place of Martyr Tamimi.
The important point is that it was the martyr Tamimi who entered the battlefield with his feet, just as he appeared for the first time in the operation scene of the Shuafat checkpoint and entered the battlefield on foot, the same place of the incident and also left the place of operation on feet. In fact, the security forces never managed to arrest this hero. Minutes after al-Tamimi’s martyrdom, one of the Hebrew-speaking journalists announced: “Auxiliaries are on standby, the Shuafat checkpoint is closed, the conflict, the 12-day chase, the end of the case with the inevitable implementation of the second operation, were exactly what Tel Aviv was afraid and scared about, but it actually happened.
He added: “The legend of Odi al-Tamimi ended with his martyrdom, as if the twenty-something Palestinian wanted to impose an equation on all Palestinian parties that whoever creates a division in politics by dividing people, all the Palestinians forces will unite against him and this unity brings together Palestinians from all sects and tendencies.” This reporter concluded by stating: “The legend of Al-Tamimi has ended and left nothing but complaints about their luck for Palestinian politicians who have been out of the public accounts for a long time.”
