Failure of theory: “The Zionist regime cannot hide its sword against the Palestinians, because the situation will get out of control.”
Faraan: In an analysis of the security policy of the Zionist regime in the face of the Palestinians, Faris Sarafandi, a correspondent of the Al-Alam network in the West Bank, wrote: The theory of “rooting out” is a security theory of the Zionist regime, which is based on prosecuting the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank widely and completely and It is built without stopping.
The security officials of the Zionist regime believe that in this operation, disarming the resistance and providing some vital facilities for the Palestinians will be done at the same time. As a result, the balance in the West Bank will be maintained and the situation will be prevented from becoming critical and the beginning of a large-scale confrontation.
However, it seems that the occupying regime is not at all ready to implement such a theory, and at least at the current stage, it does not even think about it. This is because the policy of the Palestinian Authority is based on looking for a Zionist partner to solve the Palestinian issue or international intervention, in which case the situation will proceed logically from the point of view of the occupying regime, and if something unusual happens, it will be controllable.
Nevertheless, it seems that the appetite of the occupying regime has increased recently and it has been extended from the level of the cores and resistance forces to the Palestinian legal and internal organizations. Organizations that this regime is likely to become a source of trouble and disturbance for, either through communicating with international organizations and reporting on the crimes of the occupiers and their opposition to international laws and resolutions, or through providing services to Palestinians apart from the institutions Palestinian official.
Accordingly, closing the internal and legal organizations in the city of Ramallah is part of Israel’s new security policy with the aim of disarming the resistance and, in the opinion of the occupying regime, stifling the voices of the Palestinians, which are sometimes raised to show the real face of the occupiers. On this account, in the future, we will see that the occupiers will prosecute other Palestinian organizations that have not met the criteria desired by the occupiers even though these criteria are not documented and the occupiers define and determine them at their own will.
In the meantime, the European Union, which is considered the main supporter of the internal Palestinian organizations, although it does not accept Israel’s statement that the mentioned organizations are affiliated with specific Palestinian parties. Nonetheless, the mere request of this union from Tel Aviv to provide documents that prove such affiliation means accepting its narrative. However, based on the policy of separating the West Bank from the Palestinian resistance and preventing the situation from exploding there, Israel has prosecuted social media activists and arrested a number of them. Israel arrests these activists on charges of inciting violence.
In the meantime, the security apparatus of the occupying regime contacted some activists and warned them about continuing their activities on social networks. All these actions show that Israel has fully understood that it cannot hide its sword in confronting the Palestinians, especially in the West Bank, because it considers the West Bank as its strategic depth and does not want this strategic depth to become a confrontation scene
