Experts warn against the Zionist regime’s conspiracies and alternative plans against the Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, stating that the purpose of such plans is to isolate the Palestinians in the area instead of expelling them en masse.
Faraan: Regarding the support of the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, Palestinian politicians noted that there is a unique pattern of confrontation with the Zionist regime and a widespread solidarity movement with the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood who are in danger of being expelled.
These politicians believe that the goal of the Zionist settlers and the far-right cabinet of Naftali Bennett is to gradually evacuate the residents of this neighborhood by isolating them instead of mass evictions. Nevertheless, the leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement stressed that the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarah will remain in the throat of the occupying Zionist regime, especially since it created the equation of protecting Quds in the operation Sword al-Quds, which had very important achievements.
They emphasized that the occupiers’ threat to escalate tensions against the Palestinians in the near future is nothing more than a media threat to domestic consumption in the Zionist regime. The Palestinian politicians say that any factor that exacerbates tensions in Jerusalem is contrary to the Zionist regime’s view in favor of the Palestinians, especially since the Zionist regime is not ready for a military confrontation with the Palestinians, and this has been proven in the operation Sword al-Quds.
Zionist experts noted that the Zionist security-military institutions were surprised by the extent of Palestinian solidarity with the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which began in Hebron and continued to Beit Lahm, Beida, the village of Beit Dejan, Qalqiliyah, Kafr Qadum and Jenin. Pundits say the situation indicates that Palestinian protests continue despite the entry of Israeli forces into the area and their use of sound bombs and their movements to disperse demonstrators and activists.
The experts stated that the level of solidarity with the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah is similar to that of the battle of Saif al-Quds, and that the security institutions of the Zionist regime have been desperate in response to this issue due to popular, regional and international pressures. Experts say that the case of Sheikh Jarrah has entered international institutions, and the Qatari delegation representing the Human Rights Council will visit the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah and will take the case to the world stage.
They criticized the normalization of Bahrain’s relationship with the Zionist regime and the reception of Manama leaders by Prime Minister Naftali Bennet concurrently with the continuation of the events in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
