The next target of Yemeni army is the Saudi oil export facility

In the aftermath of Sunday’s attacks by the Yemeni army, which reduced production at a Saudi refinery, informed sources said that Sana’a forces would target the Saudi export facilities in future operations.

Faraan: Informed sources said that the Yemeni army’s future attacks on Saudi Arabia’s strategic facilities will be more intense than previous operations.

Quoting informed sources, the Al-Akhbar newspaper reported on Thursday: “Operation Breaking the siege in the next painful phase comes at a time when the authoritarian countries of Saudi Arabia and the UAE are insisting on tightening the siege against the Yemeni people and preventing oil ships from entering.”

“The last rescue ship carrying 29,000 tones of gasoline was seized off the coast of al-Hudaidah on Monday; The ship was under international inspection in Djibouti, and the UN team had allowed it to enter the port of Al-Hudaidah.”

According to the report, “Some observers believe that the continued piracy of Saudi Arabia will give Sana’a forces more incentive to carry out larger operations deep in Saudi territory, this time excluding Aramco’s foreign export facility.” Al-Akhbar quoted several unnamed sources as saying: “The damage from future attacks is greater, and the attack will involve key joints of Saudi oil export facilities, which will take days or months to repair in Riyadh.”
The Yemeni army has always insisted that it will target the strategic and sensitive facilities of the Saudi coalition member states as long as the siege continues.

In this regard, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced on Sunday morning a new operation deep in Saudi territory. The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces said the operation was aimed at breaking the siege of Yemen and Ballistic missiles, cruisers and UAVs have been targeted.

Sari also added that as soon as the first phase of the operation was successful, the country’s forces attacked a number of vital and important targets in Abha, Khamis Moshit, Jizan, Samta, South Dhahran with missiles and UAVs. “The Yemeni armed forces – with God’s help – will carry out special military operations to break the brutal siege, which will include critical objectives,” Sari warned. “Goals that the criminal enemy has not even thought of.”

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces also noted that the Yemeni army has full coordinates in which vital targets have been identified and that they may be targeted at any moment. Following the operation, the Saudi Ministry of Energy officially announced that its production level had dropped after the Yemeni army attacked a Saudi refinery. An official at the Saudi Ministry of Energy told the official news agency (WAS) that the production level of the refinery had decreased following Sana’a’s attack on the facilities of the Yanbu Sainobek (Yasraf) refinery.

Saudi Arabia, at the head of an Arab coalition backed by the United States, has launched a military aggression against Yemen and imposed a land, air and sea blockade since April 26, 2015, claiming that it was trying to bring the resigned Yemeni president back to power. The military aggression did not achieve any of the goals of the Saudi coalition and was only accompanied by the killing and wounding of tens of thousands of Yemenis, the displacement of millions, the destruction of the country’s infrastructure and the spread of famine and infectious diseases.
