FARAAN: Eyewitnesses say that the occupying regime has turned this hospital into a battlefield by entering al-Shifa hospital in Gaza.
Analysis:
According to Dr. Munir Albarsh, General Manager of Gaza Strip Hospitals, the soldiers of the Zionist Army, under heavy air cover and after several days of continuous attack, entered the emergency room and the surgery department of Al-Shafa Hospital and inspected its underground part.
He pointed out that during the occupation’s attack, not a single bullet was fired from inside the hospital because basically there are no weapons there, but the Zionist soldiers shot anyone who left the so-called safe passage.
The General Manager of Gaza Hospitals announced that the Zionist Army thought it would win when its soldiers entered Al-Shifa Hospital, but they did not find any signs of resistance in this hospital. He told Al Jazeera that they informed the representative of the Red Cross that the army of the occupying forces had entered al-Shifa hospital.
In the same context, Palestine Alyoum reported, quoting eyewitnesses from Al-Shifa Hospital, that the occupying regime has turned the hospital into a battlefield. Witnesses said that they heard gunshots.
The World Health Organization strongly expressed its concern in response to the raids and attacks of the Zionist soldiers and their entry into al-Shafa hospital in Gaza. According to Al Jazeera’s report, the Director General of the World Health Organization announced that they have lost contact with the medical and health workers at al-Shafa Hospital in Gaza.
He added: “The reports we receive about the entry of military personnel into Al-Shafa Hospital are extremely worrying.” Following the attack and entry of the Zionist soldiers into al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, news sources reported that an explosion was heard inside the hospital.
Palestine Alyoum reported that the sound of an explosion could be heard inside al-Shifa hospital, and the reason for it is the explosion of the doors and walls of the west side of the hospital by the Zionist regime. This is while Dr. Ashraf al-Qadara, the spokesman of the Gaza Ministry of Health, announced: “There is nothing else in al-Shifa hospital except doctors, patients, and refugees.”
On the other hand, informed sources from inside Al-Shifa Hospital reported that the Zionist army blew up the storage of medicine and medical equipment inside the hospital. In this context, Al Jazeera reported, quoting a reporter from al-Shifa hospital, that the Israeli army has turned this hospital into a barracks.
