FARAAN: The commander of the ground forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized: “Iran’s operation against the Zionist regime was a demand for the rights of our people, and the armed forces responded decisively to the nation’s demands and proved that the defense arrangements of the Zionist regime are weaker than a spider’s web.”
Amir Kyomarth Heydari, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, stated in a press conference on the occasion of April 29th Army Day: “Our dear country is in a historic victory over global arrogance and the false Zionist regime, and I congratulate this decisive victory.”
He added: “This operation was a demand for the rights of our people and the armed forces gave a decisive answer to the nation’s demands and proved that the Zionist regime’s defense arrangements are weaker than a spider’s web.” The commander of the army’s ground forces emphasized: “April 29th is a prominent day that we remember as the birthday of the Islamic and revolutionary army, today’s army should not be compared with the army of the country before the revolution, and that army and system were completely destroyed, and our army is influenced by the Islamic revolution and the late Imam.”
He continued: The army has not abandoned the borders since the war until now, and after the war, many lands were contaminated with mines and ammunition, and everyone needed to clean these lands, and therefore, Nazaja was assigned a mission from the mouth of the Persian Gulf to Azerbaijan to clear the west and now all these lands have been cleared. Amir Heydari noted: “From 1975 to 1984, the ground forces have been secretly engaged with the hypocrites every day in order to confuse their lives at the borders.”
He said: “Today, Nazaja has 23 defense lines and in all these lines there are many equipments and systems for ground defense and we do not need foreigners and we have reached the level of self-sufficiency. In the opportunity we got from the leadership, we want to produce and import weapons in Nezaja that are long-range, point-blank, intelligent and capable of networking. In Nezaja, we produce all kinds of drones, from small and intelligent to large and strategic drones. Now 11 Nazaja brigades are present in the borders from Aras to the west, north, southwest, northeast and so on.”
In regards to the Operation of the True Promise and the possibility of an Israeli attack, he said: “The armed forces have a duty to protect the territorial integrity of the country and the Islamic system, which means that we must defend the borders and the independence of the country and the system. Although the armed forces of our country are different from each other in uniform, they complement each other.”
Heidari continued: “In the operation of True Promise, our armed forces broke a taboo with authority and showed that the era of hitting and running is over and presented a new rule in the region. The embassy and consulate of any country anywhere in the world is part of that country’s territory, so when an enemy allows itself to target the consulate, it means that it has targeted the territory of that country, and a decisive and specific response was given to it, if repeated the next answer will be more difficult.
Commander Nezaja also concluded by stating: “I congratulate my dear brother, Sardar Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force. That night, like all the armed forces, we were in full readiness and we all do our duties together, today we are also in full readiness and the child-killing regime should know that a new rule and formula has been created and we will be responsible for all possible evils.”
