The Saudi coalition have violated the ceasefire in Yemen 68 times

In the last 24 hours, the invading forces of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition have violated the ceasefire agreement in Yemen for at least 68 times.

Faraan: Local sources reported on Thursday that the Saudi coalition violated the ceasefire agreement 68 times in the past night by invading Yemen’s Al-Hudaidah province.

A source in the Yemeni People’s Forces Operations Room told the Saba news agency that the establishment of military fortifications in al-Jabaliyah and al-Hays and the flight of 15 spy planes over the airspace of al-Jabaliya and al-Hays were among the violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Saudi aggressors. The source said that in addition to the cases mentioned, violations of the ceasefire by the Saudis included shelling with various weapons.

Despite the signing of a ceasefire agreement in the Yemeni province of Al-Hudaidah in 2018, the Saudi aggressor forces and its mercenaries continue to violate the agreement. Three weeks ago, all offensive ground, air and naval operations in Yemen were to be stopped; But the ceasefire has been repeatedly violated by the Saudi coalition.
The UN envoy to Yemen stressed that the success of the initiative depended on the continued commitment of the warring parties to the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

On March 2015, Saudi Arabia launched a large-scale offensive against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime. Contrary to the Saudis’ expectations, their attacks hit the stronghold of the Yemeni people’s resistance, and after seven years of stability and painful Yemeni strikes deep into Saudi territory, especially the Aramco facility, Riyadh was forced to accept a ceasefire in hopes of exiting the Yemeni war quagmire.
