The Turning Point of the Gaza War

FARAAN: Undoubtedly, the acceptance of the four-day ceasefire by the Zionists is considered a turning point in the Gaza war. Netanyahu himself knows that turning northern Gaza into a scorched earth is not an example of the destruction of Hamas.

Analysis:

Finally, a four-day temporary ceasefire was concluded in the Gaza war. Until the conclusion of the ceasefire negotiations in Qatar and Egypt, the authorities of the occupying Quds regime and beyond, its western supporters insisted that the war would continue in any condition. Even Olaf Schultz, the chancellor of the Germans, in brazen statements, claimed that a ceasefire (even a temporary one) in the Gaza Strip is wrong, and that the Zionists should continue the genocide of the people of Gaza until the complete destruction of Hamas.

There are some points about the temporary ceasefire that need to be taken into account. The provisions of the ceasefire are set in complete contradiction to the initial will and goals of the Zionist regime and its American-European supporters in the Gaza war. In the early days of the ground attack on the Gaza Strip, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that there would be no ceasefire and only if all the hostages were released, we could consider the option of a short ceasefire or stopping the bombing during certain hours of the day.

But what happened now shows the failure of Tel Aviv and Netanyahu. In the last 46 days, the result of the war-mongering of Netanyahu and his companions in the Gaza Strip has been the martyrdom of about 15,000 innocent Palestinians, the failure to discover the extensive and complex tunnel network of the resistance, the absolute failure of intelligence in discovering the headquarters of Hamas leaders, the failure to release Zionist prisoners and so on. In addition, anti-Zionism in the international system has now found a special and unprecedented manifestation and has crystallized in different parts of the world.

The prime minister of the occupying Al-Quds regime was caught in an impasse from which it was impossible for him and his companions to get out of it. On the one hand, he was facing widespread pressure in the occupied territories for the immediate release of Zionist prisoners, and on the other hand, pressure from Washington to allow a ceasefire due to the sharp decline in the popularity of US President Joe Biden due to his support for the genocide in Gaza.

Certainly, the release of 50 Zionist prisoners will not be able to destroy the wave of protests against Netanyahu. When they reach the issue of the release of the Zionist soldiers who are in captivity of Hamas, the process will be more difficult.

Undoubtedly, the acceptance of the four-day ceasefire by the Zionists is considered a turning point in the Gaza war. Netanyahu himself knows that turning northern Gaza into a scorched earth is not an example of the destruction of Hamas. In addition, the Zionists’ intelligence estimates regarding al-Shafa Hospital and the discovery of the wide and underground communication network of Hamas are being disproved one after the other, and now, the Zionists have shifted their focus from Gaza to Khan Yunis.

This field confusion has become the Achilles heel of the Zionists and this process will continue in the future. In addition, Hamas will design and implement new and surprising tactics in the continuation of the battle with the Zionist enemy (after the ceasefire), which will disrupt the enemy’s mental and calculation constants once again. Darker days are ahead for the Zionists in Gaza.
