According to the report of Anatolia news agency, according to this UN official, 26 of the martyrs are children and five of them are women, who were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. He also said that three Palestinian martyrs, including a child, were martyred by the Zionist settlers.
In this regard, the United Nations Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights Violations in Israel and Palestine announced on Thursday last week that it will investigate the apartheid accusations against the Zionist regime.
This commission published its second report last week and asked the UN Security Council to end Israel’s permanent occupation. On Thursday last week, three members of this commission stated in a press conference in New York that future reports will investigate Israel’s apartheid. They stated that research so far has focused on the “roots of the conflicts”. According to them, Israel’s presence in the West Bank is the root cause of conflicts.
The Zionist newspaper The Times of Israel writes that this investigation has caused concerns in Tel Aviv and that this investigation may lead to the attribution of this “toxic label” to Israel.
