The Yemeni air defense has shot down an American spy drone in Hajjah province

A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the downing and destruction of an aggression coalition drone in Hajjah province.

Faraan: Yemeni air defense spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari said on Monday that the Yemeni air defense had shot down a US-made “Scan Eagle” coalition spy drone over Harz in Hajjah province.

The speed of the American Scan Eagle drone is 90 kilometers per hour and its length is 1.4 meters. The UAV weighs 20 kg and has a wingspan of 3.1 m, which can fly at an altitude of 5.4 km. The drone is equipped with an “EO” quality camera as well as an “IR” infrared camera, and it is used in espionage missions and targeting.

The $ 3.2 million Eagle Scan UAV is capable of flying continuously in the sky for 20 to 24 hours.
The Yemeni army also shot down two spy drones in Ma’rib and Al-Jawf last Friday.
