The Zionist regime’s different concerns about air aggression against Syria

In the new round of its aggression against Syria, the Zionist regime has targeted areas in the suburbs of Damascus as well as the suburbs of Tartus with missile attacks.

Faraan: According to Al-Alam, Syrian military sources announced that Syrian air defense systems repelled the Israeli missile attack on Damascus and Tartus; The attacks during which 3 soldiers were martyred and 3 others were injured and had many material losses. The Israeli army claimed that this aggression was carried out in response to the launch of an anti-aircraft missile towards the occupied territories and its explosion in the air. However, Syrian official and local sources confirmed that these invaders targeted civilian areas.

This is Israel’s first military aggression against Syria after Russia’s response to the regime’s attacks on Damascus International Airport. Following these attacks last June, Russia asked the Security Council to issue a resolution condemning the attack on the airport. Such a position of Russia caused concern to Israel, and this regime considered it a sign of escalation of tension with Moscow, and the question was raised in political and military circles in Tel Aviv whether this regime has lost its freedom of action in any aggression against the countries of the region.

Last month, Israel announced that for the first time since the start of the Israeli army’s attacks on Syria, in May, the Russian S-300 missile system deployed in Syria fired at the fighters of the Israeli army’s air force.
