The Zionists fear Iran’s cyber power

The head of the Zionist regime’s cyber circle said that Iran, along with Hezbollah and Hamas, has become the regime’s “top rival” in the cyber arena.

Faraan: Gabi Portnoy, the head of the Zionist regime’s cyber circle, said on Tuesday that Iran, along with Hezbollah and Hamas, has become the regime’s “top rival” in the cyber arena. “We see them (the Iranians), we know how they work and we are there,” Portnoy said, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The Israeli official also claimed that Tel Aviv would try to use new mechanisms to improve its cyber security and reduce cyberattacks. Zionist media have reported that an Iranian cyberattack may have triggered a siren in several cities in occupied Palestine. On Monday last week, the Zionist regime announced that a cyberattack on Israeli public alarm systems had sounded the alarm in parts of Jerusalem the night before. The Israeli army confirmed that Iran had been the cause of the attack, confirming that the cyberattack had disrupted alarm systems and heard continuous sirens in five cities. On Sunday night, alarm bells rang in several areas of Jerusalem, including Talpiat, Katamoun, Bia Hakrem and Eilat, for nearly an hour.

The Zionist network also claimed on June 15 that Iranian hackers had hacked the e-mail of a military general and carried out cyber-attacks in his name against Israel’s high-level political, academic and commercial structures. Among the victims of the attack were letters from former Israeli Foreign Minister Zippy Livni and the former US ambassador to Israel. The report’s author, Itai Shikman, admitted, citing informed sources: The hackers had infiltrated Israeli cyberspace for at least six months and had gained access to the documents and information of high-ranking Israeli officials in the name of this prominent Israeli army cautioned general and a number of other prominent figures.

The Hebrew-language media outlet emphasizes that the initial attack and incursion was carried out through the email of the precautionary general, and that the hackers carried out their electronic attacks against high-level political, academic and economic institutions in Israel. The Zionist regime’s infrastructure has been repeatedly attacked by cyber in recent months. The Zionist Jerusalem Post recently revealed that between 2020 and 2021, when cyber-attacks around the world increased by about 50 percent, the increase for Israel was 92 percent.

For two consecutive days in April, Iraqi hackers dismantled the website and servers of Bangorion Airport in Tel Aviv and the website of the Bank of Israel, and the so-called “Tahereh” group claimed responsibility for the cyberattack on Israeli bases and servers. The news channel ‘Channel 9’ the Zionist regime’s television was also targeted. Israeli media and security circles acknowledged the regime’s inability to counter cyberattacks, saying that the recent cyberattacks targeted not only government websites and infrastructure but also a prominent figure in the Israeli security staff, as of March 16-17. A hacker group called “Open Hands” hacked the personal phone of Mossad chief David Barnia and his wife and released pictures and personal information of them and their families and whereabouts.
