SERMON 1
To plant taqwa and adalat in this garden Allah has made Imam as gardener. In Quranic terminlogy Messengership (Risalat) is a responsiblity , those who have the responsibility from Allah to deliver the message. Imam is responsible to establish Adalat in society and all systems stand on the pillars of Adalat. The Imam is the gardener who has to guard, water, take care, protect this garden on the basis of Adalat. For the sake of Adalat Allah has made the system of Imamat which we have forsaken.
Imam Ali (a) was the pioneer in holding the flag of Adalat, whereby his attribute of Adalat dominates all his attributes. One Adalat was his own personality where it was on its peak and desired to establish Adalat in his governance. And when Imam Zamana (a.t.f.s) returns he will fill the land with Adalat and then only corruption will end. This Imamat and Adalat are on the criteria’s set by Allah. We expect last Imam to establish Adalat so what did other Imams before do?
Those who only aspire and admire Ali (a) in passion cannot analyze the life of Ali (a). Two things place a lock on the intellect; one is blind love and second is hatred. The love stops a person from thinking, since love is established so what is left for lover to know about the beloved. It is the same state within human beings as well wherbey they close eyes on beloved. Hence those have love just out of beliefs with sacred personalities they are deprived of cognizance (Maarifat). As an example if you see Christians that in love, beliefs they have made Prophet Isa as the spirit, even son of Allah (a) but are totally deprived from his Maarifat. Ali (a) also said that two types of people will get perish related to me; one is Ghaali who crosses all limits in my love and others are Nasibi who have hatred towards me. These two persons can never reach the reality of Ali(a). Goerge Jordac has written a book as “Ali- The voice of Justice”. He has compared Ali (a) in history with research as he is not a Muslim and has found Ali as the most powerful voice of human justice. Ali spent his life on justice and gave his life on Adalat. He was so stern in Adalat that people could not tolerate the strictness in Adalat hence they martyred him. We consider Ali (a) as Infallible due to our beliefs, but those who do not believe they have looked at Ali (a) nuetrally and found him on peak of Justice. Goerge Jordac has written about Socrates who was also martyred for Justice. When he was arrested his followers bribed the prisoner to get him out of prison. They reached Socrates sucessfully to get him out but Socrates scolded his disciples that i have been fighting for justice and law throughout my life and i myself should run away from judgement. Whenever name of justice in history was taken it was Socrates that became an objective reference. Goerge Jordac says Socrates would remain as peak of justice but in front of Ali he seems low.
For those who are blind believers the muscle power of Ali in battlefield is considered as the peak virtue of Ali (a). But the battles were not happening on daily basis and for 25 years after Prophet (s) he did not took the sword in hand. Then in his era of Caliphate he took the sword and there is no match for Ali in courage and valor. But the actual identity of Ali (a) which allah has made is Adalat. Allah says in Quran that we have send our Messengers with Book, sword, scale to establish Adalat. Ali (a) in his entire life in all era’s have spent in establishing justice. In the last era he got full authority as well. In the first part of Ali (a) he was executing the orders of Prophet (s) and in the era after Prophet he sacrificed his political status but did not forego Imamat from perspective of Adalat. We think that unless Imam is in power he is of no use. If power does not comes to Imam which happens with all Imams, but they did not leave Imamat and became part of kingship, imperialist and dictators. We can see how many scholars were attached with Kings, emperors who used to recite Quran and Hadith in their courts. Did Imam Sadiq, Imam Baqir, Imam Zainul Abideen go to any court, king and took refuge from them? The politics of courts is not the politics of Imams and they remain away from courts. All the martyrdoms of Imams took place on the ordres of kings courts. Today Shias are sitting the courts of Kings to give protection to Imamat. They give this false logic that we will sit in the palaces of Taghoot and talk about Imamat. The Taghoots want the followers of Imams to join them so that you can give away the powers of Imams in the hands of Taghoot. The Banu Abbas did the same, they took the power of Imamat and gave to Taghoots. The courtyard Ulama have written traits of Allah for the Kings.
The field of Adalat never left Ali because Allah has kept Adalat as the constitution of Imamat. Goerge Jordac has expressed the justice of Ali as peak of human voice for justice. Every statement of Ali is of Adalat. Imam Ali endangered his Caliphate for the sake of Adalat. Mughaira Ibn Sheba warned Ali that you wont be able to govern with this style of Adalat you possess. Ali has said that it will return righteousness to its status, i will end oppression, i will get the rights of weak delivered to them. Mughaira suggestion was to not do these things, do not remove Muawiya, first strengthen your governance because he will show reactoin and your government will become weak. Ali (a) replied that what justifications i hvae to remain as ruler of state if i dont do things which i have mentioned? Then anyone else can become ruler. Goerge Jordac does not looks at Ali as an Imam, but just as a normal man. He has written five volumes of book and compares Ali with Socrates. We have to remember that the world of blind lovers and haters is different. The lovers went to peak of virtue by titling Ali as Allah which Ali himself says that this is perishment. Hafiz says do not fall into the war of 72 sects as they do not know the truth. A sectarian is one who cannot find truth and just puts on attire truth on some evil (Baatil). Every sectarian considers his sect as only one on truth and rest all others he pushes to hell. Every sect wants to throw all other 71 sects into hell. If you get Ali in the battle of sects, then one group will become Ghaali and other Nasibi; both will them oppress Ali. You can see the Ali of sects and Ali of Jordac who has taken Ali from Nahjul Balagha. The Ghaali considers this as a big achievement to place Ali on the position of Allah.
Ibn Abil Hadeed who wrote the commentary of Nahjul Balagha from Sunni perspective in twenty volumes. He says Allah gave preference to First Caliph over the most virtous Ali. The secatarian consider him to be Shia though he is Sunni. He narrates one Hadith in the last volume from Ali which is presented by Ardbeli as well. In this Hadith Ali says “People have lowered my status on three occasionss and the final one was when I was compared with Muawiya and Amr Aas”. He had complains about the Shura which Second Caliph made. They made him sit to bring him down in status and not to appoint him as Caliph. When Nasibi looks at Ali he places him with Muawiya and when Ghaali does he makes Ali sit with Allah. When Jordac looks at Ali, he considers him as the voice of human justice. For Jordac Nahjul Balagha is the voice of Adalat for the entire world. The Ummah has to return towards Imamat. And when Ummah returns towards Imamat, Allah listens to them and Quran is evidence to this in Surah Baqrah when Allah granted them Taloot when the Ummah ardently desired for a leader. but when Ummah does not desire a leader, Allah associates them with Taghoots. It is our responsiblity to present Imamat to the world who is tired with oppressors, tyrants and corrupt persons. We have not given the alternative to the world. May allah grant us Taufeeq to present the system ,Adalat of Nahjul Balagha to the world.
SERMON 2
Ali says that man cannot remain man without Taqwa and he established Taqwa on the basis of Adalat. He did for himself and his family but despite of trying hard he could not succeed for Ummah.
Yesterday in the gathering I narrated sermon 27 where i felt Ali (a) was reciting this in today’s Gaza. This was narrated when Bushr attacked Ambar and looted a Jewish woman and the army of Ali (a) left the posts and ran away. This news reached Ali and he gave this sermon, that few terrorists attacked , looted and left without even a bruise on their body. He said to his forces that you should die out of shame. This is a big incidnet that a jewish woman is not safe in Ali’s government and is failure of my forces. He said to his forces that you just resemble man but you are not man. The today’s rulers, scholars, leaders are not worth of being called even man. As per Ali (a) they are not man. Ali (a) gave one duty to his followers that the looted assets should be returned and the cities should be rebuilt. In letter 37, he gave a will to his sons. This was when he struck by sword, he said do not be with oppressors, do everything for righteousness, whatever you do take returns from Allah. Become an enemy (Khasm) of oppressors and supporters of oppressed. And he says that i am giving my testament to you, to all my sons, family and to everyone whom this testament reaches. Khasm is an enemy who fights, then when settlement happens , then also after that he comes to fight. The enemey who does not leaves , returns or settles. This means we should go after the life of oppressors.
The oppression that is happening today what is Ali (a) instructing about that? We are experiencing bitter cold today and everyone is screaming. We have clothes, heater to protect from cold but what about the palestinians? How many are dying daily out of wounds, sickness, weather, lack of food is not coming in news. But we have all closed our eyes today. And against this Israel is daily being supported by USA, Europe, UK, Saudi, Turkey, Azerbaijan and others. The Palestinian are screaming for help but no one helps them. In this situation what Ali says?
The Pakistani community is passionate and the passion also remains for few hours. They need one orator, talented speaker who can arouse their passion to raise some slogans, then after that all the passions die in some hourse. they cannot extent their passions. What problems we have at Orwatul Wuthqa? Why we are not forgetting Palestine? Thi sis becasue OW religion is of ali and Hussain. Our view is of Imamat, this is becasue OW cannot leave Ali and join Kufis. We have taken pledge to live and die on the path of Ali and Hussain. Ali says become Khasm of Israel so we are after Israel. If we just raise slogans and then become silent is not following Ali. If someone has hell bent on oppression we have to stop it even if someone does not supports it. This is our religon, school and the testament of ali, and path of Imamat. The one who has forgotten the testament of their Imam is not Shia, Sunni or even human being. Ali says to do Aun of oppressed, It is that type of help which strengthens someone to achieve his objectives. This is the path which Imam Khomeini (r.a) mentioned that the world will remain unsafe till this virus of Israel remains in the world. the solution is complete destruction of Israel. There are some men amongst believers and rest all lack manlihood. Today’s manlihood and being Shia is to strengthen the oppressed and go after oppressors in a such a way that they get destroyed else they will destroy you.
