Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the readiness of the Zionist regime to cooperate with his country in exporting stolen natural gas from the occupied Palestine to the European continent.
Faraan: The Lebanese news website Al-Nashra reported today (Monday) that Erdogan had announced at a press conference that the Turkish Minister of Energy would soon begin talks on the issue.
The Turkish president added that during the time of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the plan was to be implemented in the field of energy, but Tel Aviv’s decision was suddenly changed. He added that under the agreement reached with Cyprus and Greece, Israel intends to export natural gas from the Eastern Mediterranean to Europe via Cyprus and Greece, but such a route is not convenient and will be costly.
Erdogan stressed that the calculation of the cost shows that the appropriate method in this regard is the pumping of natural gas through Turkey. The Turkish president recently suggested that energy cooperation between his country and Israel could increase in the eastern Mediterranean region. Given the recent developments in relations between Turkey and the Zionist regime, Ankara is suffering from various economic crises, and in the run-up to the elections, Erdogan believes that the solution to these problems is to improve Ankara-Tel Aviv relations.
Erdogan therefore calls on the leaders of the occupying regime in Jerusalem to improve and strengthen relations with Turkey. The invitation of Israeli President Ishaq Herzog to Turkey and the sending of the Turkish Foreign Minister to Tel Aviv have all been done for this purpose. What Ankara is looking for in the occupied territories is the economy, because Ankara-Tel Aviv security and intelligence relations were not severed, as Erdogan said.
Turkey’s eye is on the stolen Palestinian gas and is trying to transfer this gas from Turkey to Europe so that Ankara can achieve a geopolitical advantage as an energy gateway from east to west, and in addition to receiving cheap gas from the Zionist regime, Billions of dollars a year will also be spent on gas. Turkey is trying to open the door to strengthening relations with the Zionists through tourism and trade, despite the fact that the volume of trade relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv has exceeded $ 4 billion a year.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu’s recent visit to the Occupied Palestinian Territories took place at the worst possible time, especially as clashes between the resistance and the Zionist regime took place in the square, especially in Jerusalem and Jenin. Çavuşoğlu visit as the Zionists prepared to march on the flag showed that the issue of Palestine had no place at all in the policies of the Turkish authorities.
The occupiers insisted on holding the march, but the Turkish officials did not say a word about it or put pressure on the occupiers to cancel the action. The only thing that is important for the Turkish authorities in the current situation is economic cooperation and efforts to exploit the plundered gas of the Palestinians and to participate in its export to Europe. They think only of their own interests, and the interests of the Palestinians, who have always condemned the normalization of relations and cooperation with the occupiers, do not matter to Turkish officials.
Only the Palestinian people will suffer from the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime and the legalization of the occupiers. This treatment of Turkey by the Zionists means the victory of the method of compromise and submission to the idea of resistance. Turkey is trying to justify its relations with the occupiers by contacting the PA in Ramallah because it knows that the PA’s silence could reduce some of the noise and protests against Ankara-Tel Aviv relations.
Ankara is trying to convince the Palestinians that the normalization of relations with the occupiers is in the interest of the Palestinian people, and the words of the Turkish Foreign Minister are the same as the words of the UAE, and without a doubt, the last thing that Ankara and Abu Dhabi think is the benefits of Palestine. The Palestinian people and resistance condemn and reject any normalization of relations with the occupiers, and these lies cannot be accepted by the Palestinian people. The Palestinian people do not accept the normalization of Turkish relations with the occupiers, just as they do not accept the normalization of relations between the UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan and the Maghreb.
Both Turkish-Israeli sides have demands that encourage them to become closer and more normalized. The Israeli regime also needs Turkey to justify the normalization of relations with the Zionists, because Turkey is a large Islamic country and there are many media and activists who, by justifying this move by Turkey, normalize relations with the occupiers, albeit imperfectly.
Turkey limits the activities of the Hamas movement on its territory based on its relations with the occupiers, and the Zionist regime benefits from Turkish pressure on Hamas in reducing the resistance activities and the case of the Zionists imprisoned by Hamas and the issue of the ceasefire. In addition to political and economic cooperation with the Zionist occupiers, Turkey is using Israeli influence to improve Washington-Ankara relations and resolve existing disputes.
