Turkish artillery attack on Syrian Aleppo villages

Local Syrian journalists reported Turkish artillery attacks on Syrian villages in Aleppo. According to news sources, Turkish forces shelled al-Hasakah on the northwestern outskirts of al-Hasakah as residents moved to the villages of Haj Bobi, al-Dadeh Abdal and al-Akriya.

Faraan: Turkish artillery also targeted the villages of Al-Wahshiyah, Garnatha and Umm al-Qara from the Salsana base, leaving only material damage.

According to the report, Turkey and its affiliated forces shelled the village of Al-Zaklih, southwest of the city of Tal Tamar and the M4 International Highway on the outskirts of al-Hasakah. Local activists have confirmed that three members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were injured in Turkish attacks on the outskirts of Tal Tamar and Abu Rassan “Zarkan” on the outskirts of al-Hasakah.

In addition, five Turkish-backed groups were wounded by shelling from the Democratic Forces of Syria forces in the “Spring of Peace” areas. Turkey has reportedly attacked 12 villages in the past three days, firing more than 100 rockets and artillery shells, including the villages of Al-Ziyarah, Kharibka and Abin in the city of Shiravah.

In addition, the shelling caused extensive material damage to the residents’ property and destroyed several houses in the Assyrian villages that were targeted. In this regard, the Syrian Democratic Forces shelled the positions controlled by the Turkish-backed factions in the “Spring of Peace” area, as a result of which five members of these groups were wounded in the Al-Arisheh area.

Earlier in the day, regional activists reported that three civilians were wounded while harvesting crops on agricultural fields as Turkish forces fired rockets and artillery at villages and towns west of Tel Tamar.

Reporters also reported that a member of the “National Army” group was wounded in a clash with medium and light machine guns between the Syrian Army and the “National Army” in the front line of Tadif on the outskirts of Al-Bab in eastern Aleppo.
