Israeli Channel 12 aired two days ago announcing the formation of a coalition against “suicide drone threats” consisting of Israel and some countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, following Ansarullah’s recent threats to fire cruise missile drones at Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
Faraan: A specialized conference on “Unmanned Systems” was held in Abu Dhabi on Sunday in the presence of representatives of the armies of Arab and Western countries, including the United States, France and Britain, to review the development of these systems and how to deal with their dangers. Omar Sultan Al-Ulama, the UAE Minister of Artistic Intelligence, said in a speech: “Today, these systems are much cheaper and more accessible than ever, and this access allows these systems and drones to reach people we do not want to have, and this people are the same terrorist groups.”
Mohammed bin Ahmad al-Bowardi, the UAE Minister of Defense said: “We must unite to prevent the use of drones to threaten the security of civilians and the destruction of economic institutions.” Observers of the officials’ behavior are amazed at how they shamefully move towards an alliance with Israel in order to counter the Yemeni drones and missiles. In fact, if the UAE had not entered into an alliance with Saudi Arabia in the war against Yemen, it would not have been exposed to these Yemeni weapons. Thus, it is enough for the UAE to withdraw its forces and mercenaries from Yemen to live in security and peace, and then there is no need for an alliance with Israel and need to spend billions of dollars to support itself.
Groups such as Ansarallah, whom the Emirati minister called terrorists, do not have a single combat force in the UAE, while thousands of Emirati soldiers and mercenaries trained and armed by the UAE are stationed in Yemen. If there is terrorism, it is American, Israeli, Saudi and Emirati terrorism, which has targeted the Yemeni people with their fighter jets for nearly eight years.
The UAE must know that neither the US and Israeli air defense systems, nor the destroyers, nor the American fighters, nor the coalition against UAVs can protect it from the wrath of the Yemeni people, and it must act responsibly on the security and peace of its people, otherwise it cannot live in peace and harmony while Yemen is drowned in murder and chaos.
