Sermon 2: Why does Allah not help the oppressed in Palestine?
Taqwa is the security plan for human life whereby humanity and its other aspects are secured. If man leaves the domain of Taqwa his humanity ends and turns into beasts, animal and devilishness comes inside thus become destructive for other human beings as becomes wild. The foundation of Taqwa has been Adl which Quran says to acquires Adl which is nearest to Taqwa. And prior to Taqwa Adl is the foundation of guidance and Shariah. This is also because even before religion gets executed the foundation of entire universe is on Adl. As per this divine system Adl is fundamental everywhere, but the meaning of Adl which we consider is judiciary justice which is just one reference. But the Adl which is present in Quran has a vast meaning. In Fiqh as well judiciary is not Adl though one of the criteria of Jurist is that he should be Adil.
Adl is the foundation of every affair of human being. If Adl ends then Taqwa ends on its own and when Taqwa ends humanity also ends by itself. Hence if Adl ends then entire building collapses instantly like humanity, religiousness, Taqwa all fall apart if Adl exits. If human society is without Adl then oppression takes birth. When oppression dominates society then nothing remains secure and everything gets destroyed. The oppression is the name of such darkness whereby nothing becomes visible where people’s power of understanding, decision making all ends. As an example if you see the darkness which comes up after sunset or when electricity goes away, then even though everything is present but cannot be seen. We cannot find way, the door and things which we have kept ourselves cannot be seen and nothing can be seen. Man hits the wall or someone else or falls in a valley and all these are essentials of darkness. This is because man needs light and if Adl gets destroyed and then light also gets destroyed. If there is Adl then only there will be light. Like the Adl established by Allah in the universe one example is the solar system whereby all planets move around is Sun. This is a complete family running around Sun and they are all dark who get light as well from Sun. All planets take light from Sun and if this balance finishes then one thing would be planets will leave the orbits and gets destroyed but prior to this the plants will become dark first. When darkness falls then the inhabitants unintentionally will destroy everything.
This era is of darkness and oppression which is everywhere even though we see one region where oppression is at the peak. We can see our society which is complete dark and the lamps of light are lit off and society is taken away from the sources and orbits of light which are Quran and Ahlulbayt (a) and placed in devilish orbits. Here also oppression is there but eating away like terminate as compared to the severity seen in Gaza. A barbaric, wild beastly community has pounced on these oppressed people. It is not that this is happening first time, it has happened several times before. Like today’s generation do not know what Israel did on Palestine in 2004, 2012 then on Sabra, Shateela, in immigration camps of Lebanon and what oppression they have done inside Palestine. The current generation is unaware about all these due to their occupancies on media. Then America, Britian and their allies are doing all these oppressions on children and they have martyred 5000 children and more than 15000 are wounded without hospitals, medicines where they can be treated. America and then Britian, Europe and the Arab states who are worse than infidels are part of it. All these burgers, pizza’s which these Zionist companies feed you and believers take their family and even people distribute McDonald in Majalis. This company has announced that we will distribute free food to Israel during this war. They will earn money from their branches in Pakistan and serve the Israel. This way we are all involved in supporting Israel. The oil is being given by Arab countries. The weapons used by Israel are all coming from American depots in Kuwait, Qatar, Emirates and all type of support is being provided to Israel. The way Arab supported Saddam they are doing the same with Israel. Rest of the Islamic world are drowned in darkness by remaining silent. The religious and non-religious groups are both silent even those groups who speak on small issues. Sometime back an elephant in Islamabad Zoo became weak then the entire Pakistan media, government machinery, international groups ran a campaign for the elephant, they gathered funds and then transferred the elephant on a special aircraft to Sri Lanka. In Karachi there were elephants who were not taken care off well, an international campaign started to change their place, hire new staff, food should be imported, temperature should be give appropriately. For an animal such sympathy was shown by everyone but see their state on Gaza. They do not talk, condemn, support , raise voice and are living their routine lives as if even animals are not living in Gaza.
If man has insight left then would not wait for anyone because Allah has aroused Aql in every human being. But we have buried our human Fitrat and Aql under many things and then this Aql does not understand anything. The Aql buried under personal gains, lust, sects, mischiefs has no charge left inside to even see like a cataract eye. The Aql also cannot see even clear things which Quran terms as Bayyanah, means things which does not need explanation they are clear on their own by Aql. Like it is day you don’t need Wahy for this, every person can see that sun is shining and it is day. This is Bayyanah which does not need proof. It does not need any guide. The Bayyanah are unclear on animals, but for human beings the teaching are in two categories, one are Bayyanah and other are dubious things. If man has secure Aql then Bayyanah becomes clear. The bayyanah should not be taught, the more you try to teach to prove Sun, it will create more confusion, you need to just clean the eyes. If you try to prove Bayyan from proofs, then it becomes entangled. Today this clear (Bayyan) oppression that is happening in front of everyone, still people are waiting for explanations. Those who cannot recognize that this is oppression then he is worse than Zionists.
As Ali (a) says when era is such that evil is dominated then you cannot give benefit of doubts to someone. Today for how many people we can assume that they have pure, protected souls, self and the sign of this is that they can diagnose bayyanah and say that this is oppression. Some darkness man establishes himself by blindfolding. These are sects, groups, parties which blindfold man and despite of having Aql he lives a life of darkness , confusion. You would have seen two clips on media; one is saying that Hamas is Shia and you should not support them. This is an adulterated, insane , cruel person who does not even know the Muslims in Gaza belong to which sect. Then the worse Mufti is that Shia who says that they are all Sunni who does not accept Wilayat of Ali ibn Talib (a) so should not pray for them. These are the Dajjal who do not want man to see the realities. They are people are blindfolding eyes to hide the sun. This is the Dajjal group who is stopping people from seeing the reality. Now people follow sects hence they are not able to see the facts and realities. To release them from these blindfold what should we do? This guidance has been given by Quran as a matter of precaution on what people should do.
Here I will present few traditions from Imams (a) which is present in all books of traditions. One book is Mizan ul Hikmah from Mohammad Rayshaeri (r.a) who has organized authentic traditions by subjects. One deficiency is that he has split on tradition as per topics and has not listed the full tradition which has multiple subjects.
I am presenting this because of these two category of Dajjal who are worse than the army of Yazid as mentioned by Imam Askari (a) who misguide our Shias and try to earn benefits for themselves. The blindfold which Dajjal has placed on our eyes we should assess and see through the words of Ahlulbayt (a)
The Holy Prophet (s) says:
Be on your guard against the plea [to Allah] of one who has been wronged, for verily he asks Allah his right, and verily Allah never denies a right to one whom it is due.’[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 7597]
The oppressed is asking for his rights and you should protect yourself from the pleas of oppressed. You should protect yourself when an oppressed calls. If you do not reply to the call of oppressed then you should be afraid of the wrath of Allah. It is the promise of Allah that he will help the oppressed but after a certain time. This is because first I want to see if these humans come for help to oppressed or not, so that they should not say that Allah you helped and we were ready. Hence after a certain time Allah will help the oppressed.
During the battle of Jamal, Ali (a) sent a delegation to Jamal with elderly persons. They went and gave a message to the governor of Kufa to arrange a battalion from Kufa and reach Basra. In their person the governor gathered the people in the mosque of Kufa, delivered a sermon in which he said that this battle in Jamal is a Fitnah and anyone who intends to support will all go to Hell. The best virtuous person in this state is one who is sleeping, then lower to him is one who is sitting, then one who is standing but does not intend to enter the battle. Imam Hassan (a) wrote to Imam Ali (a) that this is the state of governor. Then Ali (a) wrote a letter to Abu Musa Ashari, and then told Imam Hassan (A)to gather people on their own. Imam Ali (a) is asking for help and this person in Kufa is saying this is Fitnah. This is the tradition from Holy Prophet (s)
The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Be on your guard against the plea of one who has been wronged, even if he be a disbeliever, for verily there is no veil preventing his plea from being answered.’[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 7602]
The oppressed even if he is infidel respond to him because there is no curtain between Allah and oppressed.
Imam Sadiq (a) says: Anyone who has helped a believer brother is a worship greater than one month of fasting and staying inside Masjid ul Haram. And the one who has helped an oppressed Allah will help him in the world and hereafter. One who has left a believer alone Allah will leave him alone in the world and hereafter.
Imam Sajjad (a) says: Forgive me for the oppressed who was oppressed in front of my eyes and I could not help him.
There are many other traditions in the same book, whereby if oppression is happening in front of you then you should help even if he is kafir. Today we can see the oppression done by Israel, America, Britain and Arabs who are all equal partners and more criminal than Israel. This oppression is clear and no evidences are required. To not raise voice for these oppression and not respond to their pleas is unacceptable and Allah will not listen to such person in the world and hereafter and will isolate him from his mercy. We pray to Allah to give refuge to us from this state.
SERMON 2
Today we can see the devilish things happening in the world due to lack of Taqwa. The half of world has turned into beasts and rest of the world deprived of human values turned into spectators living their lustful lives. This is a test of every individual when such incident takes place and spreads across the globe. In this test, there is a system of Allah which people do not bring on their tongues due to fear of being repelled. At times people do it on media as no one is sitting on front. That point is that in religion we believe that Allah is just and helps the oppressed so why this is not happening today. The world is witnessing the barbarism openly happening on Gaza and no one is supporting them, so what is the obstacle for Allah to come and help them. This is a logical question and we should not feel low that something wrong is coming in our mind. Why Allah is not helping them? This point I have mentioned several times about such principles. Even though we do not try to understand things deeply as we do not have certainty on our beliefs.
We do not consider Allah as creator but instead consider him as a creation with extra super powers. We imagine Allah as a creation like us with only difference that he has more powers, authority above all creation. The opinion and understanding which we have about the systems and acts of Allah shows that we consider him as creation. Like we don’t know what Allah will do for us tomorrow, what will happen to us tomorrow. I will present some request to Allah tomorrow and if he accepts then we will know what will happen to our state. Allah has Sunan , the customs and laws by which things work. The law of Allah as regards to oppression which has been made as laws for human beings and everything goes as per that law only. It is not that when oppression goes on peak Allah will break his law. In Karbala the children of Imam Hussain (a) died thirsty so why did not Allah not bring rain and why he did not help? There is a system of Allah (a) by which he has to run the world. As per that system if man is oppressor there is a law and if he is oppressed there is a law. And there are multiple laws. The first point in this law is when oppression takes place on someone and then other human beings should stand for the oppressed. If human being stand and stop the oppression on first step, but if they do not do, then the next law is if there is no one to stop like police is not there to stop some crime. On 9th May the police gave opportunity to the criminals to do something. Then they were proven as criminal and later arrested. The law of Allah is like this only. When on the first step the oppressors are not controlled by those who have to stop, then the next law will get executed. The first group if they do not stop, then next group, then third group. The servants of Allah should stop them. If they do not then Allah will create another community who will do this. Then another law is that we give time to oppressors so that he does not get any opportunity to exit. Then Allah snatches them and that too by the hands of people. In Shias, Imam Mahdi (a) will end oppression through the hands of people. The oppression can end today if the people rise for ending oppression and Imam will reappear today. The Imam will reappear in that community who will be ready to end oppression. These Palestinians were bearing oppression then Hamas stood up against oppression. If all resist and rise with them, then Allah will send that leader as well. Like Allah established Taloot and gave the Bani Israel relief. The law is same, it is in the hands of people when that era of reappearance. If they want to established the era of elections if they want reappearance then the Ummah has to be developed and Imam will come to lead that Ummah. The way that Ummah got prepared Allah made Taloot as their leader. Everyone should rise and when you rise then the means which Allah has kept as unseen will also come for help.
We should rise on daily basis against this oppression. Through mobile you can raise your voice to entire world. When you have this means in your hand then make it heard to the world. You should condemn Arabs, Israel, America and this voice of media would become decisive. Do not wait for messages to come, just spread the message yourself. Take guidance from others to make trends and make viral. Then you can do it on ground itself. In Lahore all Muslims should come out on 19th in every state they are in. In Islamabad even though some came out and world took this message that people are not silent. When you do a bigger expression than this the message would reach the world. This is the virtuous act which you have to do. Spread this message to the world for the 19th Rally. When the oppressed listen to this their motivation comes up. Today despite of all this oppression, have you seen any Palestinian say to Hamas to stop war? They come out of rumbles; a small girl says that are you taking me to bury in graveyard? Even that girl does not say what these cowards say. They are ready to die on this land and will not leave this place. It is their rights and we have to raise our voice and take next step as the grounds prepare. We are standing with our oppressed brothers in every possible way. Those who are not there in Karbala are in Kufa. We seek refuge to be part of Kufa. The Kufi’s have become a taunt in history, the only thing they did was not to reach Karbala with Imam and later they cried when the captives came to Kufa. And their mourning hurt Lady Zainab (s) so much that she delivered a sermon addressing them as deceivers, fraudsters and asked them you are crying for my brother? You will cry for their entire life, and you have to cry because you have done a big crime. You should have come to Karbala but you did not. You have to stand with oppressed for their rights. Listening to the plea of oppressed is mandatory and if you do not then Allah will isolate you in this world and hereafter. May Allah relieve these oppressed of Palestine , give freedom to Aqsa and Palestine, Kashmir and other places all those who are oppressed. All these crusaders who are fighting field be granted success and victory. May Allah grant awakening and zeal to the Muslims. May Allah prepare us to stand for the oppressed and grant us opportunity to become that fortunate generation whose uprising becomes the means of reappearance of our Imam (a.t.f.s)
